I wanna see Kraft + Faux Stitching

Hi everyone. This is my second post for the day.. if you're looking for my SCACD Blog Hop post just scroll down some. You don't wanna miss it! BRAND NEW Stamps from Sylvia Zet and Victoria Case :)

Today over at LLLC Inspiration Friday I am host of the BUMPER post.. head on over and take a look at what the amazing Monday and Friday teams have got for ya today using the theme

Kraft & Faux Stitching

Here is what I came up with using one of my fave images from the new release..

I used some papers from Basic Grey which are just awful. Really. I don't know what possessed me to even buy that pack.. but I did. I have a REALLY hard time using it. You have no idea. It just bugs the hell out of me. Today though, I think I broke the mold.. really like how this turned out.. even if I did only use three patterns! LOL.

Anywho, enough of all that. Rant over.

I paper pieced most of Marci's little dress and coloured the rest of the image using Copics and ProMarkers. I fussy cut her out and adhered her to the card using some dimensionals. I used a cute little stamp from Whimsy for my sentiment, stamped in Rich Cocoa and cut using an Xcut die. I attatched it to the card using some brown bakers twine and some thin grosgrain which I have no idea where from.. but it matched. So I'm all for it.

I then added a little more kraft in the form of some die cut hearts. Then.. a little punched flower, a huge Prima flower, some of my new doodlebug brads.. some WOC brads.. some WOC roses.. and a doily. Woah. Embellishment central right here!! USING UP STASH. USING UP STASH. *big grin*

That's all I got for ya today! :) Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:

Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Fab 'n' Funky - Use a Digi
