Bright Bean

Hey Farmers, it's DAY TWO of the September release.

Over at The Greeting Farm, starting yesterday we've got a WHOLE week of gorgeous releases lined up, just for you! Head over the The Greeting Farm Blog now to see what the amaze-balls Premiere Farmers have got for ya to feast your eyes on - from both yesterday (where you can meet Latte Anya), and today!!

All week long, you have the chance to win the set being showcased, all you gotta do is head over the TGF Blog and leave some love each day!

I cannot WAIT to show you the new BEAN on the block. These girls are in a league of their own, you can check out the previous Beans HERE, and this newbie, as well as the stamps from each day of the release will be available on Saturday!! DON'T MISS IT!!

BRIGHT BEAN

This spunky character is the latest addition to the Bean Collection, which are created as CLEAR STAMPS. If you're lucky enough to have one of these girlies in your collection, you will KNOW the high quality TGF clear photopolymer stamps! They give the perfect impression, they ink up fine first time round, and they smell GOOD, or maybe that's just me! Weirdo! Heh.

So I coloured this girlie using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match some older papers from Cosmo Cricket, perhaps it's their UpCycle collection? I haven't followed any kinda layout, I used the scraps I had left over and created a few jaunty angles and flagged banners. Those hot pinks, lime greens and pastel greens really work for me! I added some delicious Wild Orchid Crafts flowers in the bottom left hand corner, along with some lime green bakers twine to finish up this card.

Another thing I love about these BEANS (you could say the list is never ending..) is they are totally self contained. They've the image, the sentiment and a whole load of cute 'doodling' thrown in! I know what I'd love to do, get myself some of those ickle Memento pads, and ink one of these girls up RAINBOW STYLE-E! Any of you Memento collectors, try it out and let me know! LOL!

Here is the second card I made, with more autumnal colours and a whole load of bulk! LOL!! I tried out a new combo on her hair, I threw in some Burnt Umber atop my standard brown, still not sure whether I like it. What do you reckon?

Again I've used some older papers, this time from Kaisercraft - Homemade? collection. I love the burnt orange and light pastel greens in this collection, and I still have a bunch of papers left.. TO USE UP! There. I said it.

I've created my own little crochet flower, by taking some crochet trim and spiralling it up, attaching a Prima flower and a brad to the centre and wham bam. Loads of bulk and added texture! I've added droplets of gold Liquid Pearls here and there, some WOC goodness, my (what's becoming to be signature) clothes pin and that's it!!

So pleased you could stop by, I hope I haven't talked your ear off!! I will admit, this was typed up after I had a little power nap, so I'm full of BEANS. Get it! ;) Heh. Okay, I'll stop now.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm BLOG and leave comments each day with each new release with a chance to win your very own set! Release day is SATURDAY, and all of us Premiere Farmers will be holding a little BLOG HOP for ya, with another chance to see these designs in action, so be sure to clear your schedule for that. Winners from throughout the week will also be announced.

So just a heads up, this week there are FIVE new releases, 2 singles-a rubber and clear, a 4x6 set, and 2 HOLIDAY clear sets! Uh huh, we've SPOILED you all!!

Over and OUT! xo

  36. Hi Lou,
First I have to tell you that I just love how you talk through your post. I myself tend to talk, but I love getting to know people that way. lol.. Anyway, I think both of your cards are just so delightfull. You first card is just too cute with her pink hair and the way you just went with the flow of the papers. Wonderful. I love your second just as much. I love the fall feel to it and your coloring is just fantastic. Her hair is perfect and I just love how her outfit looks. I can't wait to come back and get to know you better. Hugs, Lisa G
