That Craft Place November Release

Good evening you lovely lot! I totally forgot to get my little blog post typed up last night in time to coincide with the blog post at 9am over at That Craft Place.

We have a huge new release today, and the DT have been working their butts off to bring you a whole load of gorgeousness with the new stamps. Be sure to stop by That Craft Place blog to see their creations.. This is also Boss Lady Lisa's birthday, and to celebrate she is offering 50% off at checkout.

50% off code is
KITNCLOWDER25

Enjoy!

I created two cards, first up was SUGAR PLUM.
I love this girl! Her dress was a blast to colour up, so I thought I'd stick with the traditional reds. I created some depth on her wings with some Warm Greys and added a ton of Frosted Stickles over them. I used some yummy new Echo Park papers, some vellum die cuts and some big old satin ribbon to create a big old bow before adding an Amy R sentiment to the knot.

Next up is WAITING FOR SANTA.
I absolutely love colouring this duo! I want a reindeer onesie just like this! Again I went for traditional colours but matched them up with an older Echo Park paper pack. I added a bunch of Whimsy Tickets, a Kaisercraft sentiment and a bunch of twine and Stickles.

Be sure to get your butts over to That Craft Place Etsy Shop to pick up your
Sugar and Spice
and
Betty Boots
images!

Thank you for stopping by! xo

We've got Fairy Magic..

.. to share with you all over at Some Odd Girl today. February really is for Fairies!! We've a brand new release happening over the next three days and to kick start it we've got this little cutie to share with ya..

Is she not just dreamy?! Love the shape of those wings, and those flowers in her hair are the perfect touch.. oh and those shoes? Made from leaves? Come on!! She's a beauty, alright!

FAIRY MAGIC

I've coloured her up using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match my papers from My Minds Eye. Tell ya a secret.. with all this "free from FB" time I've been having lately, I had a brain wave. I wanna try and use my stash up, like.. NOW. I hate having to trawl through my draws for stuff to use on a specific project, so for a couple hours the other day I just sat. and sorted. I picked a couple paper packs that I'm feeling right now, matched a few sheets of cardstock and raided my draws for matching embellishments. I now have two designated draws for 'stuff to use now' with the paper packs I wanna use up. I like me a plan every now and then. Here's hoping all goes well!

I wanted to make a larger card for this girlie, so this ended up being 5.75"x5.75 which is about as big as I'd go. I also wanted to colour hair blue. As soon as I seen her, I knew it was happening. So I went with it. Yellow and blue flows well, no? I used a few die cut pinking circles, a lovely beige feather, some Studio Calico rubons, Prima flowers, a homemade clay doodad, some yummy pearl brads and liquid pearls and stuff. You know, the usual.

The sentiment is included in the set, alongside a mini kinda.. starburst thingy. Very pretty!! I stamped the sentiment onto some more paper from My Minds Eye in Island Indigo ink from SU!

Oh, and before I get asked.. because I always ask other peoples where they get their leaves from.. They're from a My Favorite Things die. Voila! ;)

All you gotta do to win this treasure is head over to the Some Odd Girl blog and leave a comment! That's it! :) She will be available to buy from the shop from tomorrow, along with the rest of the release if you just. can't. wait! Heh.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
- PanPastel UK Challenge Blog - Two Colours
- Alota Rubber Stamps - Multiples of three
Three butterflies, three flowers, three gems
- Natalie and Amy's Challenge - Something Old, Something New
Brand new stamp, oooold Prima flowers

Over and out. xo

Some Odd Girl November Release

Hey guys and girls! :) I'm back, waaay late.. *grins* with my projects from the Some Odd Girl November digi release. This is how I roll these days, right? I just hope my projects are worth the wait for you all.

So I'll get right to it. Just a heads up, you might wanna grab a drink, I waffle. A lot. :/

Back on Monday we kicked off the show with the adorable Snowfall Kaylee, and the amazing samples from the team can be seen HERE. I love her scarf and hat, so stylin'!!

**************************************************

Yesterday we had Winter Bear. Is he not the cutest thing ever? You can see the DTs creations HERE. I love his accessories and that cute little face of his. Don'tcha just wanna chub him?! Uh huh! Now, I know he's a Polar Bear, but I wanted to do something a little different to match my patterned paper and make him stand out a little more.. I coloured the fella brown. Why the hell not, right?

I've coloured him up using my beloved ProMarkers and FlexMarkers which I'm feeling even more attached to after watching some wack Copic Show over on Create and Craft. Don't get me wrong, I know some peoples who ROCK the Copics, many of them are on the Some Odd Girl DT - BUT there are people who bang on about Copics making your work so much better and dissing all other alcohol markers. Shoot me. I believe the more you practice, the harder you work, the more you experiment - THE BETTER YOUR RESULTS - whatever your medium. Okay, I'ma step off my soapbox now. *grins*

So my patterned paper is from an older collection from a couple Christmas' ago from Crate Paper - Snow Day collection. Love the quirky colours. I stamped my sentiment from Paper Makeup Stamps in Pumpkin Pie from SU! and punched it with a Decorative Label punch. I added a couple vellum snowflakes and attached them with various SU! brads.

**************************************************

Earlier TODAY we had the last of our release in the form of Cuppa Mae. Heh, Mae isn't actually in the cup but she has a delicious cup of hot cocoa? coffee? what's your brew? You can see how the other ODD girlies switched Mae up HERE.

Okay, hold on to your hats. Lou Mac went.. PURPLE. Uh huh!! This is the girl who openly admits to purple being her least favourite colour to work with. Paper wise, colour wise, everything - wise. Heh. Refer to previous rant ^^ if you don't push yourself and practice, what's the point?! So Cuppa Mae has a rich purple jumper on. Uh huh. She matches the paper I used from another older collection from Cosmo Cricket - Mitten Weather.

I've stamped my sentiment from Amy R in Soft Suede ink from SU! - I think Mae would make a perfect Christmas card for a friend or even a winter birthday. That's what I love about these images - so freakin' versatile. You just gotta think outside the box a little.

What else? Uhhh, more vellum snowflakes. I mentioned a while back that I was addicted to them. They finish off my cards perfectly and are so my style. :) I've attached them using some little beige brads from my stash. Some delicious cotton stripe ribbon and polka dot button threaded with purple twine - all from The Ribbon Girl, and it's job done!!

**************************************************

I hope these have been worth the wait - I'm such a bad DT member lately. Life has been getting in the way of my hobby and it's making me mad - so all of the spare time I have I'm busying myself with colouring/ creating. Head over to the Some Odd Girl blog now and see what the ON TIME DT members came up with! ;) Heh.

Okay. Bed time for me - says the girl who wanted an early night. That sorta stuff never happens these days. Over and OUT! xo

Yumi and Fumi Handmade Winter Preview

A pretty late post for me, but it's only 11am PST, so I'm all good to go with this one. Heh.

Today marks the release of the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Winter Preview!! You excited?! I know I am. I was over the moon when Sandie asked me to design a card with these cool and quirky images.

Meet.. YETI. Is he not the cutest thing ever? I can just imagine the struggle he had with those lights. Although, I think he pulls them off better than some Christmas trees I have seen! LOL.

I have used one of the adorable.. (can you call a yeti adorable?! LOL!!) yeti images from this release.I know Yetis are not traditionally green, but hell - I went with it and I love how he turned out! He's such a big guy that not much else was needed on my card, so I kept it pretty simple. The Merry Christmas is from an Amy R set and has been stamped across that wide belly of his. Heh. I've coloured him up using ProMarkers and gave him a cool blue glow.

There are other images from this release too, like Winter Yumi, Winter Fumi and there is Yeti Yumi and Yeti Fumi, which can be used individually or as a pair. How cute! Not forgetting that big guy up there, Yeti.

You can check them all out over at the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Blog. They will be available to buy from the 26 November, but for now you can head over to the Yumi and Fumi Handmade Store and take a browse at the other images on offer. It's all a waiting game! ;) Heh.

That's all from me for today. I hope I haven't bombarded you with too much stuff. I'll be back tomorrow for the last day of previews from Some Odd Girl! :) Over and Out. xo

NEW in NOVEMBER at The GREETING FARM!

Hey, everyone!  We are pumped for the NEW November Releases available RIGHT NOW at The Greeting Farm and rest assured it is more TREAT than trick today!

You've seen the previews, and we are so glad that you're all sharing in the excitement as we move into November with FIVE new "must haves" in your TGF collection!   From the LARGER than life "Anya Styles", a bean who twinkles more than stars, two VERY fabulous (or, is it vamptabulous?  ;) Creepers in our crew and a festive Holiday Anya 2, there's something for EVERYONE...and they're all in the TGF STORE waiting for you!

You know it wouldn't be a party if we didn't have a BLOG HOP with a BIG prize, right?  This blog hop is special to us, too because it marks our last hop as a current Premiere team.
So here are my final projects as a Premiere Farmer (que puppy dog eyes and pet lip).

You guys already know who this handsome fella is, right? James is a heartbreaker. If I was his girl, I'd be claiming that jacket right away. I wonder how long git takes him to do that hair in the morning? It sure is impressive. I've coloured him with the usual ProMarkers and FlexMarkers - I've given him a bit of a roset cheeked look this time round - to match papers frm an older Cosmo Cricket called Boyfriend.

I've added the slightest green glow around James to match his eyes, it doesn't show up much on the photo but it really makes him pop off the long panel I've cut around him. To finish the card off I've added some polka dot buttons from The Ribbon Girl and a yummy polka dot brad from Stampin' Up! Oh, and that sentiment, guess where it's from?! Of course.. My Guy Ian! ;) stamped in Real Red ink. Hope you likey.

I'll add my Anya Styles card when I get home today - or try to. Blogger is too busy being an idiot to let me add anymore to the post! :(

.. and here she is. In all of her pink and purple glory.

Love this girl. Perhaps a little too much. She's so stylish and is a dream to colour. I've paired her up with some papers from Echo Park Springtime collection. The sentiment is from PTI and layered on top of a mini doily from MFT.

Before I go, I wanna take a minute to thank each and everyone one of you for making this such a fantastic experience. From the excitement of receiving new, surprise, rubber in the post, to colouring up the new images and sharing them with the crafting world, and our CCN which I trooped through until the early hours of the morning - it has all been a blast!! *grins*

Ok... on with the NEW! Here's the list you've been waiting for...will YOU be the lucky one who walks away with ALL FIVE RELEASES?  You have until 11:30pmCST tonight to enter and FIND OUT tomorrow!

back to the TGF BLOG to let us know you hopped!

Have a blast and HAPPY NOVEMBER! xo

James, you so Swaggg!!

Hey guys- it's DAY THREE of releases over at The Greeting Farm. Are you loving what you've seen so far?! I know I am!

Today we've a new guy on the block. I'd like to introduce you to..

JAMES

Is he hot? Uh huh. I'm loving his big hair and that jacket. Sooo swag!

Here's my offering.

I kept this card pretty simple using a few papers from Echo Park - This and That collection, adding some pops of yellow to bring some colour and stamping a sentiment from My Guy Ian set, also from The Greeting Farm. I've been practicing my.. greys? So i decided to colour his jacket white.. well.. at least try. I think it could do with a little more definition. We live and we learn, right? :)

And this creation is a little more out of the box.. It's CHRISTMAS themed. Heh. I had to!! All wrapped up in the leather biker jacket. I had to. Oh, and that bright red mop of hair. Uh huh. I went ALL OUT. I've used some yummy papers from Basic Grey and matted them onto Island Indigo cardstock from SU! Another sentiment from My Guy Ian finishes this card up.

Oh, and before I forget - woah. I tried out a different skin combo of.. lemme think. Nutmeg, Dusky Pink, Oatmeal, Blush and Linen. Kinda paler, I like it. Should done a side by side comparison. Next time. :)

Talking about looking swag ;) - I've got a few events to attend next month, so I'm off for a spot of internet shopping! ;) I mean.. "window" internet shopping of course! ;)

Take it easy, and be sure to check by the The Greeting Farm Blog each day to see the new characters being released each day! xo

The girl is STYLIN'!!

Oh where to begin? Perhaps with an apology? Or perhaps I could just stop putting it off and get on with the rest of the post? Uh huh. I'll do that.

So aside from the fact I'm way late with my projects for the latest release over at The Greeting Farm, you guys will have already laid eyes on the gorgeous new Anya Styles, so..

Here are my offerings.

This girl is an absolute dream to colour, and that hair! BOY! Wanna know who I think nails it? Our very own Rachel - check out her Anya with the glossy black hair.. AH-mazing. I decided to give my first Anya Styles bright blonde hair to stand out against her biker chic clothes. She's soo stylin'!

My second Anya got coloured up to represent a little more of the girlie girl in her style. Pinks and yellows are my new pinks and greens. I love the combo - and papers from My Minds Eye make it all the more gorgeous. I'd like to say this card is a little back to front, in the sense that the white space on the image panel takes up a lot of the card - and I kinda like that. I've stamped the largest sentiment from the set over the bottom of the image in Brilliance ink (so crisp) and added a few banners, hearts and buttons to finish it off. It has been matted onto some mustard coloured Core-dinations cardstock and voila.

So there ya have it!! My late edition of Anya Styles. Don't forget there is a new stamp released each day up til November 1st - which is release day, and their will be a coinciding BLOG HOP you won't wanna miss out on.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm BLOG each day to see what goodies we've got for ya!! I'll be back on Monday with a new boy on the block! ;)

LOVES. xo

Some new threads for Kaylee..

.. so she can dress up for Halloween! ;)

So last.. but by no means least it's..

WITCHY WEARS

This is a 3x4 to compliment Kaylee's Closet Wardrobe set. Who doesn't love this little girl?! Perfect for little doses of colouring, paper piecing or just practicing when you don't fancy a whole character. This Witchy Wears set comes with a hat, a dress, a broom and the cutest little sentiment to make your project perfect down to the last detail.

I've used some papers from My Minds Eye, I love the pop of blue this collection has, so I've brought that in with my colouring too. How cute is her little dress? I think next time I use this little Kaylee, I won't fussy cut her out. The white trim around her makes her pieced clothes look a little funny.. me thinks. :)

I've added some black stitched grosgrain to the design (I forgot how easy this stuff ties into cute bows) and added a white button threaded with some mini orange ricrac ribbon - all from The Ribbon Girl. I used the broomstick as an accent piece, as opposed to placing it with Kaylee, to draw some attention to the sentiment which I've stamped on a flagged piece of cardstock in Pumpkin Pie ink from SU!

That's all we've got for ya for this release! Be sure to stop by the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG and looksie at the projects the ODDies have created with this neat little addition.

All of the stamps from this weeks sneaks will be up for sale over at the SOME ODD GIRL SHOP TODAY!! Grab yours while you can, you know they're a must for your collection. xo

All Stand for Princess Tia

How cute is sheee?! Perfectly cute. Don't forget about her little froggy friend too!!

GUESS WHAT!! IT'S DAY THREE!! Today we've got a brand new Tia to share with ya..

PRINCESS TIA

She comes in a 3x4 set with three images and two sentiments. I just know this set is gonna get a load of use for little girls birthdays! :) I've coloured Tia and her little froggy with the usual PMs and FMs. I've paper pieced her dress with the same papers I've used on the rest of the card from My Minds Eye.

I haven't followed any particular layout with this card, but I do know that vellum is featuring a lot in my designs lately. I love how it softens everything. :) Anywho. I've die cut a heart circle from vellum and adhered my two images over the top. The sentiment has been stamped in Pretty in Pink ink from SU! and punched with the Decorative Labels Punch. I've layered up some crochet lace and organza ribbon from The Ribbon Girl along the bottom and created a bow using my Bow Easy.. and just because I can.. I've added some buttons and flowers to finish the card off. I'm on a bit of a button kick lately, incase you haven't noticed already this week! ;) Heh.

So that's it for DAY THREE. Be sure to stop by the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG both today and TOMORROW for DAY FOUR!! I know you guys are gonna L-O-V-E what we've got to round of this release! ;) It's the perfect Halloween addition to a certain little set which has taken the blogging world by STORM!! Over and out. xo

Spwoooky Happenings

It's DAY TWO of the new clear release over at Some Odd Girl!! You guys already know what I'm talking 'bout, right? You've been waiting since yesterday for today to arrive, I just know it! ;) BUT incase you've been living under a rock during the run up to this release check out the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG.

Whoo loves Owls? ME!! I DO!! I DO!! What's not to love about this little guy.

Owl-ween

There are 6 super fun stamps in this little 3x4 set, and I've used five of them. I decided to create a little scene on a Labels Four die cut using a 1" circle stencil for the moon and some Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum ink from SU! I stamped the branch directly onto the die cut using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and coloured it using PMs and FMs. I also coloured the owl, his hat and the little bat with my PMs and FMs too. All three have been fussy cut and adhered to the card using dimensionals.

I used some delicious polka dot satin ribbon from The Ribbon Girl which I have tied with my Bow-Easy which makes it super easy to get the polka dots facing the right way! ;) I've added a little orange button threaded with some brown bakers twine over the knot, and job done.

I hope this Owl hasn't spooked ya too much! ;) Heh. Be sure to stop by tomorrow for DAY THREE of this amazeballs clear release! xo

Time for some FALL FUN at Some Odd Girl

Guess what?! It's time for some NEW STAMPS to add to your collection over at Some Odd Girl. Just in time for Autumn, Halloween and all that sorta colourful goodness!! We can't wait to show ya!

First up we've got a 4x6 set with two main images, one accent image, three sentiments and a bunch of cute little leaves to help tie your project together!!

FALL FUN

This little sweetie is perfect for Autumn and Winter, with her long coat, long socks, long scarf and comfy boots!! She's been coloured up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers and fussy cut out. I just had to colour up that little pumpkin too.

I've used papers from Basic Grey and stamped some of the leaves onto different scraps to create a partial frame around my vellum die cut. I've added some layers behind the transparent focal point - patterned paper, metallic mesh and some brown gingham ribbon. I thought adding a bow to this design would take away from all the Autumnal happenings, so instead I added three clusters of buttons and bling. Simples. The sentiment is also part of that set. I've stamped it in Pumpkin Pie ink from SU! (how fitting!) and die cut it using a Whimsy die. That's about it from me for today! :]

Be sure to head over to the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG and see what other amazing projects the ODDies have whipped up for ya using Fall Fun!! You will not be dissapointed!!

Pink Ribbon Mae

*waves*

I feel like a total stranger around these parts, and for that I can only apologise. BUT!! I know you guys are gonna be happy for me! I know myself that I'm happier than I have been in a very long time. Now I know I don't usually get all personal and soppy on my blog, I usually just stick to waffling with a slice of craft, BUT!! me thinks life is on the up!! New horizons, new directions and courses to take, and I finally have all of the special people right where they need to be! :)

Now I know that's very 'riddle' like, but you never know who's reading these things! ;) Many of you have me on FB, and might have seen that I haven't been getting much sleep lately. Between that and doing a heap of extra hours at work over the past two weeks I'm all but pooped come the end of the day. By which my 'day' runs from 7:30am to about 4:30am! LOL. There are far better things to be doing than sleeping right now!!

SO! Now that I've got all of that out of the way, I hope that I've got these couple hours set aside to get my blog up to date! *fingers crossed*

HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN KEEPING UP WITH THE NEW DIGI RELEASES FROM SOME ODD GIRL?!

OF COURSE YOU HAVE!!

Today is the last day of previews.. we've got two absolutely gorgeous Mae's for you to add to your projects, from spunky and sassy to classy as chic, these two ladies have got it going OAN!!

Let me introduce ya to..

What did I say about chic and classy?! Uh huh, this pretty lady has got it ALL going on!! Please head over to the Some Odd Girl BLOG now to see what my other awesauce teamies have got for ya to show off both PINK RIBBON MAE and COWGIRL MAE! ;)

As standard, this girlie has been coloured using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers - I love her matching eyeshadow! ;) I tried out a new combo for cream on her dress, I'm not 100% on it. What do you think? I also tried a new combo for blonde hair! LOL. I kinda like how that turned out! :) I kept the card pretty simple, with some papers from My Minds Eye Madison Avenue and some delicious ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. The sentiment is from an Amy R stamp and sums this image up just perfectly for me.

I'm off to try and get the rest of my missing posts sorted! ;) See you all very shortly.

Over and out. xo

SOG - Sept Digi Release

With all this cold weather we've been having lately, it's time to get geared up for the SNOW!! Okay, okay.. not quite yet.. but I can't wait for it's arrival. Guess whose all ready and raring to go.. It's Tobie!! How could you forget about this little character?

First up is Tobie and his little snowbuddy. How cute do they look together?! Tobies face says it all really.

I've coloured this little cutie up with the standard PMs/FMs to match my papers from Basic Grey. I've kinda souped up this card a little more than I usually would with a male card, but I kinda like how it turned out. I think the embellishment of this Christmas is gonna be die cut vellum snowflakes. ;)

Next up is WINTER TOBIE! All wrapped up and ready for the chilly days ahead. Do you love that hat as much as me?! I sure hope you do. I've coloured him up to match the same papers from Basic Grey, and I've added a couple more die cut snowflakes. I've tried to create a little landscape, can ya tell? ;) I love using up scraps, I do.

So that's it from me! Hope you likey! xo

Elf Kaylee

This girl has GOTTA be my fave from this release, although I really love Winter Tobie too.. and Pink Ribbon Mae. Oh, and Cowgirl Mae. HECK! I can't choose a favourite. Can you!?

So here is ELF KAYLEE. Isn't she a sweetie?! Love her little outfit, and that pile of gifts. Those ears of hers make me sooo happy too! :) I've coloured her using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match my yummy papers from Echo Park.

I've been getting a lot of questions about which combo I use for my skin. It's always, unless I otherwise say - Blush, Soft Peach, Rose Peach. Baby Pink for their cheeks, and either Lavender or Burnt Orange for the deepest shadows, depending on how I'm feeling! LOL.

I've kept the layout of the card pretty simple. I love the big image panel and the embellishments layered on top of it, I've been rolling with that 'technique' a lot lately. I've die cut some yummy MFT Dienamics Snowflakes from vellum and attached them using some brads from Doodlebug. I've added some green gems and a cute little sentiment from Amy R to finish it off.

Can I ask you all what you think about the blue glow around the image? Do you think it could be extended a little more without her looking like shes stepping off of a space ship?! I feel like I'm heading away from fussy cutting my images out right now (no doubt that urge will return soon).. so I wanna play more with the white space around my images. Any tips?

That's all from me! Head over to the Some Odd Girl Blog now and check out the newest KAYLEES in our digi family. Thank you for stopping by. xo

Bugs and Kisses

So it's mid-day now. Day TWO of my jolly berries, and this cutie wraps up my last post for today. Have I saved the best til last? YKW.. I'm not sure. I totally love this girl and her hedgehog friend, but in all honestly.. as much as I am PETRIFIED of bees and all things bee.. I gotta say that BEE YOU FAIRY is my fave. For today at least. Until I make her into a card.. then I might change my mind! LOL.

Okay.. so this little lady and her spiky friend is..
BUGS AND KISSES

So this card is pretty CAS for me, I know. Don't die. I guess I can do it if I really put my mind to it.. although this is about as plain as I think I could manage. I wanted to keep it pretty flat as I'm gonna be posting it out to a lady who was very, very kind to me in a recent SMASH* swap. She loves ladybugs, perfect. Black and red, perfect.. aaand that sentiment from Amy R goes perfectly with this little couple! PERFECT!

I've used some scraps of paper from My Minds Eye.. Lost and Found 2 Rosy, perhaps? That 6x6 pad is nearly GONE! Yeah peoples, you read right. Within the space of about a week, I've said that TWICE. ;) That massive patterned paper stash is slowly diminishing. I promise.

These two cuties have been coloured using my go to medium.. ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Okay.. be honest.. does Mr.Hedgehog look like he's got chickenpox?! That's what my boyfriend said about the little spots on his face. I thought it was cute! :( I've added a ton of layers to his spikes, but it doesn't really show in the picture.

I'd love to enter this card into these challenges:
- Craft Your Passion - Gone Buggy
- Make it Monday - Anything Goes
- Simon Says Stamp and Show - Favourite Technique
I love using a flicking technique with my alcohol markers to create strands of grass, which usually complete a summer scene just nicely! :)

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, I hope I've inspired you guys to stop by the Tiddly Inks BLOG and SHOP to pick up this cutie after drooling over some inspiration from the amazing DT!

xo

A little TWO in ONE

So this is my.. what?! THIRD post of the day. YEAH BWOY! I'm on it. :)

I'm gonna tell you now, before you get all excited about seeing some more ANNABELLE projects from me.. this is gonna be raw.. just coloured images. Time ran away with me, and truth be told.. I gotta get my ass into gear to get these made into cards by the end of the week.

I plan on giving my next door neighbour a card with..

FLUTTERBY ANNABELLE.

She always spends a lot of time in her garden, not necessarily catching butterflies in a net - shes on the other side of 50, but you know.. she likes the outdoors and stuff. She also appriciates handmade stuffs, so I always make an extra special effort. I'll post finished pictures of my projects when I'm done. Promise.

The little cutie on the right hand side, with the nestie all positioned ready to go is..

BEE YOU FAIRY.

Hmm.. for being a Bee hater.. this girlie is winning as my favourite at the moment. I think it's her cute little stance, and her hair, and her little honeycomb basket of flowers. She's just cute man.. even if she does have black and yellow stripes.

So there ya have it. Raw coloured images, ready to be all prettied up! :)
I dunno about you, but I love seeing shots like this on FB - before people match their images to a card. I hope you like it this time round too!! I couldn't not share these with ya!! I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE GONNA LOVE HER!

Be sure to stop by both the Tiddly Inks BLOG and STORE and pick your very own ANNABELLE UP. TODAY!! xo

New Girl on the Block

Uh-huh. Yeah. You read it right girls and boys.

Lemme recap. The date is.. 14/08.. the occasion is.. NEW RELEASE OVER AT TIDDLY INKS. Of course, I know you guys couldn't forget.. but just incase! ;)

UH-HUH. YEAH!!

This is ANNABELLE. Yet another cute character Christy's brain has come up with for us Tiddly fanatics to get colouring up. Honestly. I hope you guys are as excited as I am because I have been DYING to share these with you all!!

**This is my second of four Tiddly Inks posts for today. Hell yes. Tuesday 14/08 is gonna be dedicated to Tiddly Inks on my blog. Gonna stagger these creations for ya, so you don't get bored of scrolling through all of my (un)necessary waffle ;) - the stuff I just can't seem to post without**

SUNSHINE ANNABELLE

I've coloured her up in bright, but not bright?! sunshine-y colours to match my papers from My Minds Eye - Howdy Doody collection. I honestly have no idea where I was going with her hat?! At first I was gonna make it like a straw colour.. but I decided that after I had coloured her a red head.. I thought it might have clashed too much. Then I wanted to make it cream - but it got lost and looked like a cloud just floating there.. so I added some yellow. Rightly or wrongly - I dunno. But there ya have it. I love her layered dress and her little petticoat sticking out from underneath - too freakin' CUTE!

This is what blows my mind with Tiddly Inks images - especially the newer ones. They're so cute, small and compact.. yet they still manage to pack a massive punch when it comes to detail and quirkyness. LOVE! Sunshine Annabelle with her whimsical pose and cute outfit is no exception!!

I've cut her out using a labels 18 nestie and doodled around the embossed edge. When don't I?! It's kinda turned into an OCD thing I have. Nothing looks right without a little bit of doodling! :/ I'll break the habit some day.. I'm sure.

I've kept the layout pretty simple on this one.. tried to use up some left over papers before cutting into full 6x6 sheets. Stoopid, I know.. but I like to think I'm kinda frugal like that! HA! Who'm I kiddin'?! That super fun sentiment is from an Amy R set - she is quickly becoming one of my fave designers for sentiment stamps, she always picks fun fonts and cooks up the cutest phrases. I've punched that using the Decorative Label punch from SU! and added it off to the side of my design.

What else? Before I totally bore you and you nod off completely! LOL.
I've die cut some Provocraft hearts from Pool Party cardstock from SU! and embossed one of them before adhereing them together and adding the cutest little button from The Ribbon Girl, threaded with ivory twine, over the top. I've done the same on my yellow twill stripe ribbon bow and also stuck a yellow flower stick pin through too.

Along the bottom edge of the design I've layed some mint green mini pom pom trim, also from The Ribbon Girl, and wrapped some pink Doodlebug twine around to cover up my messy Glossy Accents which squidged out. Heehee. We all make mistakes, right? :) Some of us are just better at cover ups. LOL!

Hmm.. last but by no means least.. as they are one of my fave things ever.. liquid pearls. Mint green and pink to keep with the theme, dotted here and there to fill in some of the blank space! :)

Hope you likey!! I really love this girl. Be sure to stop back in a couple hours for more ANNABELLE reveals over at Cartolinas! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Summer
- House of Gilli - #39 Add a Sentiment
- Paper Pretties - Anything Goes
