Clean and Simple at Tiddly Inks

Good morning Tiddly Inkers! :) This is a new, and my last, challenge over at Tiddly Inks

We want to see your CLEAN AND SIMPLE creations!!

I decided to use a cutie from Mini and Many Friends, which I've coloured up using ProMarkers and die cut using a circles Spellbinder. I've added red faux stitching and some Platinum Stickles around the outside.

I embossed the red panel of the card with the Swiss Dots embossing folder from Provocraft. I added some turquoise stripe washi and a line of red twine with a little enamel heart atop the knot to finish off this CAS card!!

Head over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog and see what other amazing creations my top notch teamies have gots for ya!

Thank you for following my on my Tiddly Inks journey. I hope to pick up where I left off again very shortly, so please don't be disappointed. I will also never stop using the amazing designs from Tiddly Inks, so you will still be seeing the critters and characters around my blog! :) xo

Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks

I made this card up a while ago as part of a commission for a lovely lady. It was her son's third birthday, and she wanted a mixture of trains and dinosaurs! The Conductor from Tiddly Inks was perfect!! I coloured him up in a red, orange, blue and grey combo to match my papers from My Minds Eye and the slice of dinosaur digi paper I bought from Etsy.

Head over to the Tiddly Inks challenge blog to see what the other ladies have got to inspire ya! ;)

Tiddly Inks Got some WINGS!

Morning, morning. I hope by the time this post goes lives I'll have had a good nights sleep. The weather has been just crap here lately. Everyone banging on about getting loads of snow. Bloody tosh. We've had nothing but wind and rain for two days straight.

All of that boring stuff aside.. we've a new challenge for ya over at Tiddly Inks! ;) Uh huh.

WINGS

Here's what I came up with using one of my old time faves. Wryn - Close to my Heart. How cute?! I take so much pleasure in colouring those wings up. They may look simple, and that's because they are, but it's so theraputic. Okay, I'ma stop talking and just show you the pic.. heh.

I'ma keep this short because I'm a tired little kitten. I've used some more papers from My Minds Eye. If you haven't guessed already, I think turquoise and red are my Valentines colours this year. I coloured Wryn up to match and printed the sentiment out to go with her. I've die cut the sentiment using an X-Cut die and added some Doodlebug brads to either side. I've added some gemstones and liquid pearls in.. you guessed it.. a diagonal. Mental. I know.

Thanks for stopping by. Pop over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and join in! xo

It's Friday at Tiddly Inks

Hey guys! It's finally Friday. Thank goodness.

Sorry this post is going up WAAAAY late. Blogger has been a pain in the butt this past week. I'm now onto my third browser. This time I'm trying out Chrome. What have I been missing?! I KNOW!!

The temperature has severely dropped here this past week, and walking over to work at 7:45 in the morning is making me shrivel.. and shiver. Plus my hands feel like leather. Meh, that's a story for a different day. So instead I'ma hibernate this weekend and try and get some cards made with my very sore fingers.

It's time for some inspiration over at Tiddly Inks and this week I decided to colour up the adorable Anna Belle. She has been newly released over at the Tiddly Inks Store, so you can grab her now.

She has been coloured with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, and let me tell ya, my teamies coloured up those balloons SO much better than me. In fact, I'm a little embarrassed to show this! LOL

I've used a mixture of papers from Echo Park, My Minds Eye and Sassafras. I've also used a C.C Designs die to create my little wooden fence. I have then used a SU! roller wheel to create the woodgrain pattern on the kraft cardstock. The sentiment is a Whimsy Stamps postmark stamp which I have layered on top of a labels 16 die and a pinking circle. I've added some gem stones and pearls on a diagonal to guide the eye over the pretty.. plain.. card from me.

Head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog NOW and have a gander at the other teamies awesome creations.

I'm off to make a little To Do List and watch the snow out of the window. :) xo

Anything Goes at Tiddly Inks

We're gonna get the start of the year off to a very easy and carefree start over at Tiddly Inks this time round with our new challenge.

ANYTHING GOES

Uh huh. As long as you use a Tiddly Inks image you can create whatever you wish! :) Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I've used one of the new images Christy released on the 3rd Jan. See THIS post for a little peak at the others. They're being released in acrylic, which opens up a whole new door to your crafting.

This is Wryn Happy Mail.

I've coloured her up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match my papers from My Minds Eye. I've layered my design up ontop of some Blush layering paper from Hero Arts (love that stuff) which I've embossed using a diamond lattice folder.

The cute little circle sentiment is from a Whimsy set and I've stamped it ontop a pinking circle in SU! Melon Mambo ink. Hmm.. a bunch of punched butterflies, some pretty pink buttons threaded with yellow bakers twine, some pink matt brads and some ickle liquid pearls finish this off.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Lexi's Creations - Anything Goes
- Make It Monday - Anything Goes
- Oh La La Creations - Happy Birthday
- Whoopsi Daisy - Die cuts and punches

Please head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog now and join in with us! xo

Make it Like.. POPS!!

Here's me falling WAAAY behind with my blog posting again. I've been so busy working on Christmas orders to get them out within a reasonable 'Christmas' kinda time scale that I don't really know whether I've been coming or going these past few weeks *grins*

I'm finished up now though, just a few more DT projects to work on then I'll be done for the holiday season and I can sit down, chill and get my mojo topped back up! ;) Hopefully in the new year I'll be in some kinda frame of mind to try and have a small purge of some of my craft stash that I seem to have been collecting rather than using over the past year.

After promising myself I wasn't gonna buy much more stuff, which I have kinda stuck to.. it has sorta made me more frugal with stuff. So now I've got that to overcome - and I'm getting there slowly but surely. Again, it's with paper.. if it's discontinued I don't wanna use it up if I really like it, because chances are I'm never going to see it again.. but if I take a step back and look at the bigger picture - this could turn into a vicious circle. FAST! So time to stop being such a dork about stuff and get it used up so I have room for new goodies if ever I fancy spending my monies on more craft stash. HAH!

So, I betcha wish I hadn't made an appearance back in blog land tonight huh? What with that little script. Ramble out of the way let's get down to the bones of this post.

Yesterday over at Tiddly Inks we posted a brand new challenge for you guys to join in with. I'm super excited to tell you all that it's another 'Make It Like..' and this time round it's

MAKE IT LIKE POPS

Yippeee. This is Pop's gorgeous card she made for us to draw some inspiration from.

I decided to take the size of the card and the way she had her embellishments laid out as inspiration this time round, and this is what I came up with - as part of a commission would you believe. *wink, wink*

So I'ma keep this short and sweet as I wanna hit the hay some time before 10:30 again tonight. I'm pooped.

I used the adorable Wryn - Fairy Friends and coloured her up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match my patterned papers from My Minds Eye. I printed the image out pretty large so that it would take up a generous portion of my 6x6" card. I love how it turned out. I just wish I'd stamped the 1st Birthday onto a seperate piece of cardstock, but meh. Picky.

All of the ribbon and fibres are from The Ribbon Girl, I've used a heap load of bling - a mixture of Kaisercraft, Papermania, Liquid Pearls, Prima and Stickles and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. There are a lot of horizontal layers on this card, which have ended up pretty much covered, but I know they're there. Heh. I double bow-ed the.. bow?! UHHH!! and added a pretty Stickle-d snowflake with a button in the centre to the knot. The specifications for this card included pink and snowflakes, whatcha reckon?!

That's all I got for ya tonight. Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow night to post and schedule a few more bits and pieces here and there before I totally log off for Christmas - not that I've been around much anyway. HAH!

Over and Out. xo

Tiddly Inks and Funky Hand Blog Hop

It's time for the daddy of all blog hops right now!! Us girlies at Tiddly Inks and Funky Hand have teamed up to bring you some of the most delicious inspiration floating out there in the interwebs right now. Are you all ready for some goodness for your corneal delectation?! I sure hope so.

Everyones creation will be a mash up of Tiddly Inks digi image goodness, and Funky Hand digi paper fun-ness. Uh huh!!

You should have arrived here from KAREN'S BLOG, but if not and you want to start at the beginning.. because that's always a good place to start.. then head over to the FUNKY HAND BLOG WITH ANICE.

So here's what I came up with using Wryn goes Caroling from Tiddly Inks and the gorgeous Stylish Tree Paper from Funky Hand. I printed my digi paper onto cream cardstock to tone down the teals and reds and make the image pop out more. I really love how it turned out.

I kept the layout pretty simple and added a sentiment in the blank space at the bottom of the card base in Real Red ink from SU! I chose three of the papers from the set and layered them up. LOVE that hollyberry one. Gahh!! Oh, and the teal snowflake one is pretty gorgeous too. Anyway, I digress. I kept the layout pretty simple, die cut a fancy border on the teal paper and punched out a decorative label from the red paper as a base for my embellishments clusters. The cherry blossoms and red roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the snowflake charm that I hung from a length of red twine is from The Ribbon Girl, as is that lovely cream taffeta. That's about it from me. Oh, and the Wryn was coloured using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers of course. :) Heh.

Hope you likey.

Next stop is SAM'S BLOG.

Here is the full HOP LIST in case you make a wrong turn somewhere!!
Asa

Enjoy the rest of your journey.

Over and out. xo

Make it Like.. MARLENA!!

It's time for a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and today it's another 'Make it like..'

So we want to see you make a card like..

MARLENA

Here is her gorgeous card which you can use for inspiration in the form on colours, layout, image, embellishments - it's entirely up to you. :)

I've taken some inspiration from Marlena's layered circles and the placement of her gorgeous flowers. I just had to use Cocoa Wishes with this purple and pink combo. I've upcycled, if that's the right word.. some brown packaging paper. I scrumpled it up and added a heap of texture to it before adding double sided tape about half and inch from the edges and adhering it to my card base. Moving the adhesive further into the middle means you can ruffle up the edges a little more.

I've used papers from Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather collection and coloured Wryn with my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match. I cut her out using a circles spellbinder, layered some purple plaid behind her and some cream/greyish floral kinda paper cut with a scalloped circle behind that. A lot of layers for me, I think? :/ LOL! I coloured the 'floor' beneath Wryn far too dark for the rest of the card, so I've adhered some gathered ivory ribbon beneath her instead. Problem solved! ;)

I then took a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft flowers and layered them on top of some die cut vellum snowflakes which I've added Stickles to to give them a little more texture. That makes up the 'square' portion of my card, just like Marlena's design, and to fill the rest of my card I've stamped the sentiment from an Amy R set and added some gemstones to either side to ensure it stands out enough. :) Job done. Hope you likey.

Has this given you enough inspiration to get creating something with Marlena's creation in mind? I sure hope to see you over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog with your projects.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Creatalicious Challenges - Winter
- Crafts and Me - Circles

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday! xo

Want some Hugs?!

Wryn's got a heap loads for ya! ;)

This post is going live WAY late. I didn't even realise that it hadn't posted. How bad am I?! I really should keep up with my own blog, huh? So here it is..

Today is Friday, which can only mean it's time for more fabulousness from the Tiddly Inkers! Ready?!

I've used the gorgeous Wryn - Happy Heart which I've coloured using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match some pink and purpleness! :)  Oh, and that lime green heart which just adds another pop of colour along with the black embellishments I've used.

I've cut Wryn out using a Labels 18 spellbinder, you may recognise this card as it looks similar to one I made a while a go. I had a lovely lady place an order in which she wanted a card like the one I made a while a go. I had to explain to her that no two of my cards are ever the same, she was fine with that - so this is what I came up with. The same, but different. Heh.

That's all I've got for ya today. Be sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to see what the other awesome ladies have came up with to inspire ya this Friday!! xo

Make it Like.. LOU!!

Morning Tiddly Inkers! :) It's Tuesday once again, and that means it's time for a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks. Like you didn't already know.

This week we have another Make it Like.. LOVE these challenges. It's interesting to see how you guys interpret out DTs projects. So this week we want you to

MAKE IT LIKE LOU

Our lovely Lou whipped up this creation a while back..

and we want you to take some inspiration from it for your card, whether it be in the form of the layout, the colour combo, the image or the detailing!! We can't WAIT to see what you come up with.

I used the same image as Lou for my card, this is Wryn - Joy Ride, and I've coloured her using one of my all time fave colour combos - turquoise, lime green and orange. YUM!

I've added some seam binding, Prima flowers a big button and some brads from Doodlebug. Oh, and that mini orange ric rac that's been popping up on a lot of my projects lately! :) The sentiment from Amy R has been stamped in some Island Indigo ink from SU! Love. :)

Please head over to the challenge blog and see what my other teamies have come up with using Lou's cute project for inspiration. Kisses. xo

Sing me a Carol

Oh, you don't wanna sing? What's that? You sound like a cat being strangled? Gosh, okay.. keep those noises to yourself. Instead.. Wryn will sing us a lovely carol.

Ready?

Heh! :) It's time for another dose of Fabulous Friday from our AH-mazing Tiddly Inks team! Head over to the challenge blog to see what the other ladies have created to inspire ya this week!!

This is Wryn Goes Caroling. She's been coloured up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match my papers from an old collection from Basic Grey - Wassail. I know I'll be asked what colours I used for her hair - so Oatmeal, Honeycomb, Ginger and Spice. :) One step ahead of ya!

I haven't followed any particular layout for this card, I've just tried to use up the scraps of papers I've already cut into. I've inked the edges using Frayed Burlap DI - the first time I've done this in forEVAH. I've outlined some areas with an Old Olive marker. The little sentiment ticket is a mixture of Whimsy stamps and Amy R. Some yummy olive grosgrain from The Ribbon Girl, and old BG button aaand some random beige coloured brads finish this card off.

Oh, and.. I've been tryna use up my.. flatter? less dimensional? dimensional foam adhesive. It's like 1mm, maybe 2mm thick.. and well.. I have like two who A4 sheets to get rid of. Hell, you can't even tell that the image panel is popped up on this card, can ya? Meh. I gotta start using stuff up before buying new, so I'ma have to stick it out. Get it? Stick! LOL! Seriously though - why don't we think ahead before we purchase this stuff? :/

Don't forget to head over to the challenge blog!

Thank you for stopping by! xo

It's HALLOWEEN at Tiddly Inks

Goodness me. Neither of my posts actually went live yesterday. So here is my new challenge card for Tiddly Inks a day late! *sweet, sorry face*

Morning Tiddly Inkers! :) Tuesday has come around again.. and another Tuesday can only mean one thing.. a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks!!

Over two weeks of October have disappeared into thin air.. and in another two short weeks it'll be HALLOWEEN. So.. we want to see you whip up your bestest HALLOWEEN CREATIONS with the gorgeous images available over at Tiddly Inks.

Christy has been a busy bee and has drawn up a bunch of new Halloween images for us to use - head over to the shop to pick up yours now!!

I decided to use Witchy Wryn, because I loves her! :) I love her little friends even more - the frog and kitty! I've coloured her up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers - I didn't want to make her cloak super black, so I've used Cool Grey 2-5. I've made her a little blonde, with green highlights, heh. You can't really tell on the picture, but it looks so cool IRL. Another thing the picture hasn't really picked up on is the purple glow I've added around her - gotta work on that to get it to stand out more.

I've kept the layout of the card pretty simple. I've embossed the bottom of the cardbase with a Sizzix EF, added a few stripes of My Minds Eye patterned paper, a length of polka dot ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, a cute bow and a threaded button. Voila! The sentiment has been created using Amy R stamps and punched out using an SU! punch.

Thank you for stopping by! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Sassy Cheryl's Digi - Orange and Black
- Forever Friends - Halloween/ Autumn
- Hooked on Craft - Halloween

Be sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge BLOG and share your HALLOWEEN creation with us! xo

Hey you, Candy Avenger

Hey Tiddly Inkers! :) It's time for another OLDIES post over at Tiddly Inks. Today it's my turn to show off another Avenger.

This little girlie is Candy Avenger and she is perfect for Halloween!! She's been coloured with PMs and FMs to match my papers from My Minds Eye.

I've stencilled some cloudy night sky behind the little Avenger, using Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum ink from SU! I've created the sentiment using a set from Amy R and punched it out using a 1"circle punch. I've adhered it to an orange Prima flower I had lying around in my stash and folded a length of mini orange ricrac behind it. For another added layer I've punched some polka dot patterned paper with a tab punch from SU! and folded that round the image panel.

I've layered up some of the patterned paper from the My Minds Eye collection and wrapped some grosgrain stitch ribbon and mini ricrac ribbon around for some added texture. I've created a bow using my Bow Easy and layered an orange button otop the knot - all from The Ribbon Girl. To tie the layers together, I've added some Pumpkin Pie doodles around the edges.

For finishing details I've dotted a few Doodlebug brads here and there. I'm not usually big on Halloween, but I love the dramatic black and orange combo! Plus, this Candy Avenger makes Halloween feel super fun! I hope she shares her bounty with her friends, her pumpkin looks like it's bursting with goodies!

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Scrap Creations - Pumpkins
- Hooked on Craft - Halloween
- Make in Monday - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by today. xo

Thinking of You

Hey Tiddly Inkers, sorry this post is going up a little late. My head has been all over the place lately, I have no idea whether I'm coming or going. Hopefully over this next week I'll get myself sorted out and organised again. Please bare with me. :)

So it's time for another Fabulous Friday over at Tiddly Inks, and this time round I've gone with an 'old' favourite of mine.. Wryn and Emmy - BFF. How sweet are these two together.

I whipped this card up for a lady who wanted to let her friend know she was thinking of her as she was going through a tough time. She emailed me a picture of the two of them together, and I tried to match Emmy and Wryns dresses to theirs from the picture. :)

Be sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks blog and see what other awesome creations the girlies have come up for ya this time round!

Birthday Wishes from Annabelle

*waves* Happy Friday!! Thank goodness the weekend has arrived, I sure need a break. Almost been working full time shifts this week, and although it's good for the bank balance, it's not so good for the knees! I could cry! LOL. So I plan on standing up straight or lying down straight with as little bend in my knees as possible for the next two days!!

Aside from the drama in the knee compartment, Friday can only mean one other thing.. IT'S FABULOUS FRIDAY over at TIDDLY INKS!! I decided to use another gorgeous Annabelle, which I'd coloured up previous to her release, but who hadn't made it onto a card yet.

I coloured this cutie up with my neighbour in mind. It was her birthday at the end of August and she loves spending time in her garden, this little Annabelle was perfect!!

I kept the main panel pretty large, as I printed the digi out at over 4" - oh yeah, I went all out on this! ;) I used a mixture of papers from My Minds Eye, love that wooden one. I doodled some of the edges with my brown fineliner, wrapped some cute bakers twine around the design, and added a bunch of Prima and WOC flowery goodness to the bottom corner.

The sentiment is from an Amy R set, which I stamped in black ink to make it stand out from the blades of grass I flicked in. The whole image has been coloured using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, I then added Diamon Stickles to some areas of the butterfly wings for that added sparkle! ;) Some little orange brads from Doodlebug finish the design off nicely.

I hope this has inspired you to break out those Tiddly Inks and create something cute today! I can't wait to see more of Annabelle around blogland, maybe you blog will be the one?

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Crafts and Me - Add a Flower
- Inky Impressions - Anything Goes

Don't forget to head over to the Tiddly Inks BLOG now and see what other drool-worthy creations the ladies on the amazing DT have come up with for ya! ;) Feast your eyes!!

Over and OUT. Enjoy your weekend, whatever you get up to. xo

Did you Hear?

So back at the beginning the month, Melissa kicked things off with a new tradition starting over at Tiddly Inks. It's exciting times, let me tell ya. It's like NEW stuff, but DIFFERENT. We're reigniting the love of Tiddly Inks older images.

Over at Tiddly Inks, we really want to make sure that our fantastic fans get a chance to see some of the older images that Christy has drawn over time. I know as well as anyone that Wryn has been a HUGE hit around blogland, and we're loving that - but sometimes we get caught up in the new and forget to show off the old!!

So in Christys honour of her amazing artwork, both old and new, the Tiddly Crew will be featuring one older image per week (Thursdays) over at the Tiddly Inks blog and their own! Today it's my turn, so let's get to it.

Today I'll be showing off one of my other fave characters.. Lilli Claire.

I started off with my Nutmeg paper pack from My Minds Eye and coloured up Lilli Claire to match. Yellows and blues, yummy! One of my fave things about this character is her HAIR! There is so much freedom to do what you choose with it. What I mean is, there is a lot of open area. You can really practice your strokes and stuffs. HA! What am I talking about!?

I used my new Rolled Daisy die from MFT (that's gonna be given a MAJOR workout) to create a little kraft coloured flower, I then added a yellow brad to the centre and surrounded it with some WOC goodness!! Some yummy strips of ribbon, the twill from The Ribbon Girl and the velvet textured stuff as part of a SMASH* swap.

Thanks for stopping by! I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes
- Inky Challenges - Primary Colours
- My Mum's Craft Shop - Three sets of Three
I have a set of three flowers, and two sets on three blings - LOL! :)
- Simon Says - Anything Goes

A+ Fab Friday

Morning Tiddly Inkers! :) Another Fab Friday on the cards for you all over at Tiddly Inks! This time I have another 'back to school' kinda card! I think it'd be kinda fun to give your kid a little 'good luck' sorta card, to wish them on their way to start the new school year.

Kids over most of England don't go back to school til the start of September, so still plenty of time left! :) I'll be uploading these to my Cartolinas FB page soon too.

So this cutie is A-Plus Avenger - you guys knew that already. She's a total oldie but goodie! I've coloured her up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Her dress is a similar colour to what my old school jumper is. So cute! :) Ahhh, I have good memories from school.

Anyway, I digress. I've kept the layout pretty simple-ish. Not many embellishments. I've used more scraps from My Minds Eye. I die cut an 'A' using my slice, I think it's kinda neat! :) High hopes and all that. I've stamped the sentiment using Harolds ABC's from Lawn Fawn in Real Red ink from SU!

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Cute Card Thursday - Back to School
- Delightful Challenges - Punches and Dies

Please be sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks blog and drool over the other Fab Friday stuffs the amazing DT have come up with!

Bugs and Kisses

So it's mid-day now. Day TWO of my jolly berries, and this cutie wraps up my last post for today. Have I saved the best til last? YKW.. I'm not sure. I totally love this girl and her hedgehog friend, but in all honestly.. as much as I am PETRIFIED of bees and all things bee.. I gotta say that BEE YOU FAIRY is my fave. For today at least. Until I make her into a card.. then I might change my mind! LOL.

Okay.. so this little lady and her spiky friend is..
BUGS AND KISSES

So this card is pretty CAS for me, I know. Don't die. I guess I can do it if I really put my mind to it.. although this is about as plain as I think I could manage. I wanted to keep it pretty flat as I'm gonna be posting it out to a lady who was very, very kind to me in a recent SMASH* swap. She loves ladybugs, perfect. Black and red, perfect.. aaand that sentiment from Amy R goes perfectly with this little couple! PERFECT!

I've used some scraps of paper from My Minds Eye.. Lost and Found 2 Rosy, perhaps? That 6x6 pad is nearly GONE! Yeah peoples, you read right. Within the space of about a week, I've said that TWICE. ;) That massive patterned paper stash is slowly diminishing. I promise.

These two cuties have been coloured using my go to medium.. ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Okay.. be honest.. does Mr.Hedgehog look like he's got chickenpox?! That's what my boyfriend said about the little spots on his face. I thought it was cute! :( I've added a ton of layers to his spikes, but it doesn't really show in the picture.

I'd love to enter this card into these challenges:
- Craft Your Passion - Gone Buggy
- Make it Monday - Anything Goes
- Simon Says Stamp and Show - Favourite Technique
I love using a flicking technique with my alcohol markers to create strands of grass, which usually complete a summer scene just nicely! :)

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, I hope I've inspired you guys to stop by the Tiddly Inks BLOG and SHOP to pick up this cutie after drooling over some inspiration from the amazing DT!

xo

A little TWO in ONE

So this is my.. what?! THIRD post of the day. YEAH BWOY! I'm on it. :)

I'm gonna tell you now, before you get all excited about seeing some more ANNABELLE projects from me.. this is gonna be raw.. just coloured images. Time ran away with me, and truth be told.. I gotta get my ass into gear to get these made into cards by the end of the week.

I plan on giving my next door neighbour a card with..

FLUTTERBY ANNABELLE.

She always spends a lot of time in her garden, not necessarily catching butterflies in a net - shes on the other side of 50, but you know.. she likes the outdoors and stuff. She also appriciates handmade stuffs, so I always make an extra special effort. I'll post finished pictures of my projects when I'm done. Promise.

The little cutie on the right hand side, with the nestie all positioned ready to go is..

BEE YOU FAIRY.

Hmm.. for being a Bee hater.. this girlie is winning as my favourite at the moment. I think it's her cute little stance, and her hair, and her little honeycomb basket of flowers. She's just cute man.. even if she does have black and yellow stripes.

So there ya have it. Raw coloured images, ready to be all prettied up! :)
I dunno about you, but I love seeing shots like this on FB - before people match their images to a card. I hope you like it this time round too!! I couldn't not share these with ya!! I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE GONNA LOVE HER!

Be sure to stop by both the Tiddly Inks BLOG and STORE and pick your very own ANNABELLE UP. TODAY!! xo

New Girl on the Block

Uh-huh. Yeah. You read it right girls and boys.

Lemme recap. The date is.. 14/08.. the occasion is.. NEW RELEASE OVER AT TIDDLY INKS. Of course, I know you guys couldn't forget.. but just incase! ;)

UH-HUH. YEAH!!

This is ANNABELLE. Yet another cute character Christy's brain has come up with for us Tiddly fanatics to get colouring up. Honestly. I hope you guys are as excited as I am because I have been DYING to share these with you all!!

**This is my second of four Tiddly Inks posts for today. Hell yes. Tuesday 14/08 is gonna be dedicated to Tiddly Inks on my blog. Gonna stagger these creations for ya, so you don't get bored of scrolling through all of my (un)necessary waffle ;) - the stuff I just can't seem to post without**

SUNSHINE ANNABELLE

I've coloured her up in bright, but not bright?! sunshine-y colours to match my papers from My Minds Eye - Howdy Doody collection. I honestly have no idea where I was going with her hat?! At first I was gonna make it like a straw colour.. but I decided that after I had coloured her a red head.. I thought it might have clashed too much. Then I wanted to make it cream - but it got lost and looked like a cloud just floating there.. so I added some yellow. Rightly or wrongly - I dunno. But there ya have it. I love her layered dress and her little petticoat sticking out from underneath - too freakin' CUTE!

This is what blows my mind with Tiddly Inks images - especially the newer ones. They're so cute, small and compact.. yet they still manage to pack a massive punch when it comes to detail and quirkyness. LOVE! Sunshine Annabelle with her whimsical pose and cute outfit is no exception!!

I've cut her out using a labels 18 nestie and doodled around the embossed edge. When don't I?! It's kinda turned into an OCD thing I have. Nothing looks right without a little bit of doodling! :/ I'll break the habit some day.. I'm sure.

I've kept the layout pretty simple on this one.. tried to use up some left over papers before cutting into full 6x6 sheets. Stoopid, I know.. but I like to think I'm kinda frugal like that! HA! Who'm I kiddin'?! That super fun sentiment is from an Amy R set - she is quickly becoming one of my fave designers for sentiment stamps, she always picks fun fonts and cooks up the cutest phrases. I've punched that using the Decorative Label punch from SU! and added it off to the side of my design.

What else? Before I totally bore you and you nod off completely! LOL.
I've die cut some Provocraft hearts from Pool Party cardstock from SU! and embossed one of them before adhereing them together and adding the cutest little button from The Ribbon Girl, threaded with ivory twine, over the top. I've done the same on my yellow twill stripe ribbon bow and also stuck a yellow flower stick pin through too.

Along the bottom edge of the design I've layed some mint green mini pom pom trim, also from The Ribbon Girl, and wrapped some pink Doodlebug twine around to cover up my messy Glossy Accents which squidged out. Heehee. We all make mistakes, right? :) Some of us are just better at cover ups. LOL!

Hmm.. last but by no means least.. as they are one of my fave things ever.. liquid pearls. Mint green and pink to keep with the theme, dotted here and there to fill in some of the blank space! :)

Hope you likey!! I really love this girl. Be sure to stop back in a couple hours for more ANNABELLE reveals over at Cartolinas! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
