We all love an angel, right?

I LOVE Elisabeth Bell images, but the last few times I coloured some up (given, that was over a year ago) I absolutely hated the results!! Hmmph. So what better way than to create some cards with ready made toppers? I buy mine from My Mum's Crafts Shop.

Perhaps I need to dig out a couple Elisabeth Bell stamps I know I have jammed at the bottom of a drawer and give them another go. A project for a rainy day, me thinks.

Saturday, Saturday. Saturday, Saturday!!

Today I'll be trudging along at work - trying to make my way through the swaaathes of people coming into the shop - just standing around like they've all the time in the world - developing selective hearing when you interrupt their conversation to scream excuse me as you try and make it passed them with the heaviest box you've ever carried as it starts slipping from your grasp.. you get the idea.

There is a Christmas market on in Whitley Bay today, so naturally the shop will be absolutely heaving. I foolishly agreed to help all day! Hah. How silly am I?! Extra pennies I suppose. That's the only thing that'll get me through the day.

Anywho..

Onto happier things, here's another little LOTV creation I made to share with you all.

Outta all the LOTV stamps, I gotta admit that James Bear is hands down my favourite. He's freakin' adorable!! What's not to love?! He is always a dream to colour too. This time I shook it up grey scale. Usually I colour him up as a brown bear, but I went with my papers from Echo Park for inspiration and that lead me down the grey route.

Traditional Christmas

I'm trying to have a post a day throughout December, and so far it's looking pretty good! I mean, it's not like I haven't got 1001 Christmas cards to share with you all!!

This card was part of an order for a lovely lady. I made her wedding cards earlier in the year, and we have kept in touch ever since. 

I used a classic LOTV stamp, coloured with PMs to match my papers from a waaaay old Basic Grey paper pack called.. Jovial.

It has been my mission this Christmas to use up those older paper packs before I get sick of the sight of them in the bottom of my drawer and kick off with myself for not using them. Yuh, I'm weird. Like.. sometimes I feel like I have to hoard paper.. and then every few months I'm like.. REALLY?! You REALLY gotta just keep all this? So then I'm like hell.. let's just use it up!! MAKE WAY FOR THE NEW STUFF!!

Peace on Earth - Clearly Besotted

So, not too long ago I received my ever first order from CLEARLY BESOTTED STAMPS.

Yeah, uh huh. I was NOT disappointed!! 

I'm not a one to do reviews and what have you on my blog, mainly because I never get asked.. but lemme just say this..

These stamps are amazing quality.

They stamp beautifully first time. I used both dye inks and chalk inks.. yum!!

The designs are outstanding - and some sets really fill a gap in the crafting world.

I cannot WAIT to have more time to play with these.

Christmas at My Mum's Craft Shop

Morning all! :) We're even CLOSER to the big man in red arriving than we were this time last week, excited?! Heh!  Along those lines, I thought I'd share this gorgeous little Wryn who's kinda dressed up like a little girly Santa!! 

It's my turn to share some inspiration for My Mum's Craft Shop - this week the girls are doing CHRISTMAS. 

I decided to use Wryn from the Winter Friends set by Tiddly Inks.

I done a little selective stamping and drop the lovely podgy snowman - he wasn't really what I was after for this card! ;) I coloured Wryn up in red and black with my ProMarkers.

The papers are from the new Echo Park - 'tis the Season pack. So pretty. I love the contrast of the distressed blacks against the traditional reds and greens. Very unusual. If you haven't got your hands on this pack I highly recommend you do so, even if you have to wait for next years cards before you can use it! ;)

I added some goooooooooorgeous red saddle stitch grosgrain ribbon. Lemme tell you about this ribbon!! The top and bottom of it is - I've been waiting all my life for some like this! LOL!! I can't find this stuff A-N-Y-W-H-E-R-E. Me and Mother Goose went shopping the other day.. she wanted some PJs - in short.. I made her buy some she didn't really want - because they were wrapped with this ribbon! LOL! As soon as I got home I just KNEW I had to use it on a card. Wanna know the best part? I think I've enough left over to decorate another card. Yippeeee!!

So.. what else.. I added some green paper flowers, some die cut vellum snowflakes - I used my Die-Namics Let it Snowflake dies.. a little striped red button from Kitty's new line aaaaaaaand.. some red Hobby House rhinestones here and there.
