Abbey Rocks

Wednesday's don't half come round quick these days! LOL.

I've got some sad news today.. this is gonna be my last post for Quixotic. :( I've decided to step down. Gawwd. Don't make me go into detail because I get a little teary! Long story short.. I need to stop spreading myself so thin.. I need to create more 'me' time - no pressure, no deadlines.. just crafting because I wanna. I hope you all understand!! Just know that this isn't the end of my and Quixotic! :)

So to go out with.. guess what I've got for ya? Of course.. some more The Greeting Farm goodness. :)

This is the awesome Abbey from the Creeper Crew. How awesome is this girl?! VERY awesome. I had such a blast colouring her up!! I've coloured her up with PMs and FMs to match my mixed patterned papers. The slice with the alpha is from Cosmo Cricket - upCycle, the smaller grid and the swirly swirls are from two Basic Grey collections.

As for sentiments, I've used some much loved Whimsy Ticket Sentiments - Treasured Moments and coordinating die.

That's about all for the Quixotic yummyness today!! Hope you enjoy.
Don't forget to enter our Sketch Challenge to be in with a chance of winning a £15 gift certificate for Quixotic Paperie.

That.. Hair..

Wednesday. Quixotic. You guys might be surprised to know that I had this card finished off like.. TWO WEEKS ago. Organised? Maybe. Received a kick up the ass? Definitely. Will it continue? Hopefully. :)

So lets get down to the nitty, gritty. You all know I'm in love with TGF, right? Some of you may know that I'm desperate to achieve more contracts with 'natural' hair colours using my PMs/FMs.. I think I'm making progress. Let me know what you think..?

So here is one handsome boy on the block.. Ryan from TGF Wild Sprouts. Don't know what I love more. Those eyes, that.. HAIR.. his style!! Love this stamp. LOVE.

I've stamped him in Memento - Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in pretty neutral colours with my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers then cut him out using a Labels Eighteen die.

I've sponged some Tea Dye and Frayed Burlap ink atop some letters I cut with my TH Vintage Market die. Love how this looks! :) I've used some papers from My Minds Eye Sunshine collection. Neutral, nice. :) You know. Peace.

Turquoise and Orange

Happy Wednesday. Halfway to the weekend.. always an exciting prospect. Time for me to provide a little inspiration over at Quixotic today. So.. can you guess what's coming?!

Of course you can. Some.. SOME ODD GIRL!!

This time round I used the whole stamp set - Sweet Thinkin' Mae. Love this little lady. SO versatile, and we all love that, don't we? I've coloured her up using PMs and FMs (don't even ASK what happened to her nose, poor lady..) to match my papers from My Minds Eye Breeze Collection. I've rekindled my love for Kraft over the past few weeks after having a little break from the stuff, so this time my cardbase has been created using Bazzill Kraft cardstock.

This card totally reminds me of the first ever project I made for my term with SOG last year. The little bookmark with Bookish Tia! Too cute. :)

:) Over and out.

With a Cherry on TOP! :)

Morning guys. Sorry for my absence over at Quixotic last week *slaps wrists* truth is, I just wasn't in time!! I was gonna post this card last week, but by the time I had finished it up and checked the clock it had gone half 1 in the morning.. Thursday morning. I wasn't happy! LOL. How come time really does fly when you're having fun?!

Never the less. I'm here today to share this card with you.

This is the sweet Cupcake Mae and she is available alongside the two sentiments and a sweet little cupcake image with sprinkles as part of a 4x3 set. I've coloured her up using ProMarkers to try and match my papers from My Minds Eye Follow Your Heart: Be Happy Collection. I've added some aqua coloured ribbon, white lace, few mocha brads and Prima Pearls to finish this design off.

I've followed the colour combo set over at Some Odd Girl this month.

Thanks for stopping by today. :)

Just as a little note on the side, for supplies and the like. I've used some scraps from Bo Bunny Gabrielle collection. I've die cut a labels four from the teal coloured paper and embossed it using a woodgrain pattern. I've adhered the other patterned papers at jaunty angles and wrapped some white polkadot organza ribbon from The Ribbon Girl around the card. I've used the Bow-Easy to create my double bow and added a little pink WOC 15mm rose. The sentiment is from an Amy R set and has been stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black - love how crisp that looks. Finally, I've used a 1" circle punch to take a chunk out of each corner. :) Job done.

Thanks for stopping by today, and enjoy the hop!

Happy Cupcake Day

Very late post from me. Again. Haven't been in the house very long today - been at work and have been tryna make the most of the warmer weather. More like tryna get my system used to it. This heat makes me want to hibernate! Unfortunately I've gotta get on with it.

So I've got a little Some Odd Girl creation to share with ya today. Boy oh BOY have I been having withdrawls from these images!! Had to jump back on the bandwagon and get one of these cuties coloured up. So I went with Baker Mae.

I've used some yummy papers from the new My Minds Eye collection - Howdy Doody collection and followed the sketch over at Some Odd Girl.

That's all from me tonight. Over and out.

Quixotic Lounge

Hey guys, this is going up a little later than planned - so I'ma try and make it speedy so I can get caught up with emails and (hopefully) have an early night. :) Half way through the week already, how's it going?

Today I've got a card to share with ya using some old school supplies, I think that's fair to say. See what you think. I've followed this months sketch but adapted it to fit a standard A2 size card.

I've used a cute little image from The Greeting Farm - Miss Anya Lounge collection. Love her outfit. :) I've coloured her with ProMarkers to match my papers from Cosmo Cricket - UPcycle collection. See, oldies.. but goodies, right?!

No sentiment on this card, I thought the papers were waaaay busy enough, so I've left that for the inside of the card. Hope you likey.

You've got until April 14th to get your entries into our sketch challenge. With a £15 Quixotic Voucher up for grabs, what are you waiting for?!

Over and out.
