HB2U

Morning guys! :) Some of you who follow me over on FB may recognise this card that I posted on the Time for Tea Designs page early last week. I told you I still had to get my butt into gear and get a blog post typed up for that card.. so here it is! :)

I printed the image out pretty large at 5.5 and went to town colouring up that gorgeous gown of hers. I used a bunch of blues.. and then stumped myself as to what colour to make the banner. She looked like a classy lady, so I went with a red ribbon and red polka dots on the flags (soo not classy!! LOL!)

I kept the rest of the card pretty simple using some red cardstock from SU! to matt my patterned paper from a Teresa Collins 6x6 pack. I edged my image panel with a Kaisercraft stamp in Memento Dandelion ink, and added some yellow gingham ribbon to match.

With the sentiment already being a part of the image (super handy, and another excuse to print her out a little bigger than you normally would) I added a sprinkling of yellow embellishments, including a Prima flower, a couple buttons some yellow and gold sequins and some gold liquid pearls.. all in a diagonal across the card of course! :)

That's all from me today. Be sure to stop by the Time for Tea Designs blog regularly to catch up on DT makes, updates and new releases coming your way. It's always happening over there. xo

50th Birthday

Yoohoo! :)

.. and on the last day of the month *waves* I have a card to share with you that I created waaaay earlier in the month.

I went with a very on-trend red, white and blue combo. I used an older Teresa Collins pad with that very combo! I love how fresh this looks with the baby blue and pops of red. Will definitely be trying this combo again.

I cut the LARGE 50 using my Cameo. I created a backdrop using an embossed die cut heart. I die cut the little 'SISTER' using a C.C Designs die and added that to another heart. I stamped a happy birthday sentiment using some Lawn Fawn alphas onto a Paper Smoochers banner.

I kept the card pretty clean..ish and simple with open spaces.. but that didn't stop me going crazy with the froofroo. I added some Doodlebug brads, Cheeky Chelseas Fimo doodads and some sequins.

Thank you for stopping by today!! I'll be back with a nip and a punch for the first of the month tomorrow, just for you! ;) xo

Embossing at PFP

Hello guys! It's great to be back again to provide another dose of inspiration for the new challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers this week!! I never really mention it, but I'm so honoured to be a part of this team. Not only is boss lady Denise awesome, but my teamies are super talented too!!

I see more and more crafters turning to the dark side each and every week, and I'm proud to say that each and every one of us over at Passion for ProMarkers are still very much in love with our chosen medium.

THE HUMBLE PROMARKER

So enough of all the soft talk.. and onto the card. The theme this week is..

EMBOSSING

You could use your trusty old embossing folders, blast your card with a little heat for some traditional embossing or go all out and modern with some embossing paste! The choice is entirely your own.

I chose to use one of my favourite embossing folders (which is actually a Basic Grey Christmas design from Sizzix) and some heat embossing on my sentiment (which wouldn't show up no matter how many times I retook the photo - so you'll have to take my word for it! ;)

ProMarkers and FlexMarkers
Sentiment - Sophie's Sentiments Lawn Fawn
Cardstock - Neenah, Stampin' Up!, Papercuts
Patterned paper - Teresa Collins
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Memento Luxe Rose Bud
The Ribbon Girl
Doodlebug brads
Liquid Pearls
Dew Drops
clear embossing powder
Memory Box die
Sizzix embossing folder
doily and corners cut on Cameo

How are you guys liking this little list set up?

Concise with less waffle - my fingers are a fan, and I manage to get a blog post done in half the time.. surprisingly! LOL!

Thank you for stopping by today guys. Be sure to visit the Passion for ProMarkers blog to get even more inspired by the lovely ladies and join in with us. xo

For You

I'm back today with some more inspiration for you guys using the Art Pads from Lili of the Valley.

I thought I would really struggle matching papers up with these, but it's actually easier than my OCD first thought.

This time round I used the gorgeous dog and bunny hugging.

I dug out some older papers from Teresa Collins that I hadn't even broken into yet *slaps hands* and went to work. I LOVE that grey floral paper, and the B side of that was this coral coloured hexagon pattern so I just had to use the two sides together.

Avery Elle Oh Happy Day sentiment
Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink

Jobs a good'n. xo

Spotty and Stripey

Afternoon guys! Sorry this post is going up a little late, as usual time has gotten the better of me this week! That seems to be the story of my life lately!

Anywho, I'm here now. In amongst planning my Saturday I thought I'd quickly get this post typed up!

*nip and a punch for the first of the month*

With it being the first of Feburary today, I still can't quite believe it - where did January go?! It's time for a new challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop.

SPOTS AND STRIPES

This is my take on the theme. I used a new image from the latest Time for Tea Designs release, this is Daydream Believer, but all of Jo's images can be found HERE in her Etsy shop.

I teamed the image up with blue, red and white papers from a Teresa Collins pack that I've had sitting around for a while now and I've only used it a couple times. Crazy, because it's gorgeous - and so easy to team up with ProMarker colours.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Bloggers Challenge - Embossing
- Delicious Doodles - Die Cuts and/or Punches
- Sister Act Card - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by today, and please be sure to stop by the MMCS blog and join in with our challenge this month. We all love spots and stripes, right? xo
