They say it's your Birthday..

It's safe for this project to go 'live' now - as it's the recepients birthday! My Uncle! :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Before I start my usual waffle, I just want to say a MAHOOOSIVE THANK YOU to all of you lovelies who've stopped by my blog these past couple days to leave comments on my TGF RELEASE posts. If you missed any of them, you can spy them HERE and HERE. Don't forget about our BLOG HOP TOMORROW!

This is a card using the awesome Saturday from The Greeting Farm. I love his hair!! I decided to add red tips, just for something a little different. Not 100% happy with how this turned out, but it was the first time I've coloured him up, so be gentle with me!

I stamped a sentiment from a Hero Arts set, along with those little music notes around the bottom of my image in ink from SU! I added a few customary banners behind the image, some alpha stickers from Cosmo Cricket and a little sprinkling of bling. I sure hope my uncle likes it! :)

Thanks for stopping by today. xo

Did you Hear?

So back at the beginning the month, Melissa kicked things off with a new tradition starting over at Tiddly Inks. It's exciting times, let me tell ya. It's like NEW stuff, but DIFFERENT. We're reigniting the love of Tiddly Inks older images.

Over at Tiddly Inks, we really want to make sure that our fantastic fans get a chance to see some of the older images that Christy has drawn over time. I know as well as anyone that Wryn has been a HUGE hit around blogland, and we're loving that - but sometimes we get caught up in the new and forget to show off the old!!

So in Christys honour of her amazing artwork, both old and new, the Tiddly Crew will be featuring one older image per week (Thursdays) over at the Tiddly Inks blog and their own! Today it's my turn, so let's get to it.

Today I'll be showing off one of my other fave characters.. Lilli Claire.

I started off with my Nutmeg paper pack from My Minds Eye and coloured up Lilli Claire to match. Yellows and blues, yummy! One of my fave things about this character is her HAIR! There is so much freedom to do what you choose with it. What I mean is, there is a lot of open area. You can really practice your strokes and stuffs. HA! What am I talking about!?

I used my new Rolled Daisy die from MFT (that's gonna be given a MAJOR workout) to create a little kraft coloured flower, I then added a yellow brad to the centre and surrounded it with some WOC goodness!! Some yummy strips of ribbon, the twill from The Ribbon Girl and the velvet textured stuff as part of a SMASH* swap.

Thanks for stopping by! I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes
- Inky Challenges - Primary Colours
- My Mum's Craft Shop - Three sets of Three
I have a set of three flowers, and two sets on three blings - LOL! :)
- Simon Says - Anything Goes

Paralympics: Get set, GO!

Yoohoo! :) Checking in with this little tag I made for the The Greeting Farm Customer Chat night earlier this month!

Before I start my usual waffle.. I wanna just say.. TODAY KICKS OFF THE PARALYMPICS!! Know something? I just don't get why these games don't get just as much coverage, if not more than the 'standard' (if I can say that?) perhaps 'original' would be better.. games. Maybe that's just me?

I know you've probably heard me say this 1000 times before.. HA. This is the first time I've coloured up little Oliver from Ahoy. I gotta admit, I think he's a sweetie! :) Love his little outfit. I went with the 'go to' colours  for a little sailor. This guy is meant to represent our very own Ben Ainslie, the smart little cookie he is.

A simple shipping tag, bought in a pack of 20 from WHSmith makes the perfect base for a tag with a difference. This would be perfect to attach to a gift, for the main focal point on a card, to jazz up a SMASH* page or just to sit in your craft room looking good.

Thanks for stopping by! Take it easy. xo

Some Holiday Blessings

I'm back, with DAY THREE of previews over at The Greeting Farm. I'll try and keep this one short and sweet, if you wanna know more deets, head over to THIS post from yesterday!

So, want some more CLEAR goodness?! We've got it for ya in bucket loads with this new set, just in time for CHRISTMAS! (There, I said it).

I'm not gonna lie, this set is the one I've been waiting for for like.. years! It's all in a package, everything you need to make a bunch of quick, cute cards!

Here are the two notelet sized designs I came up with using two of the stamps from the clear set. Which by the way, is amazeballs quality, just like the rest from TGF!!

These two cards are both 3.75"x3.75" and are perfect as a set, or to reproduce. I love how you're able to colour the designs in, but they don't take forever in all of their detail! Nice to pair up with your favourite patterned paper. I can see me using up my two packs of Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses this Christmas! ;) Love the combo.

So pleased you could stop by today! Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm BLOG and check out what the other amazing ladies have brewed up for ya! It's all about CHRISTMAS today! ;)

Bright Bean

Hey Farmers, it's DAY TWO of the September release.

Over at The Greeting Farm, starting yesterday we've got a WHOLE week of gorgeous releases lined up, just for you! Head over the The Greeting Farm Blog now to see what the amaze-balls Premiere Farmers have got for ya to feast your eyes on - from both yesterday (where you can meet Latte Anya), and today!!

All week long, you have the chance to win the set being showcased, all you gotta do is head over the TGF Blog and leave some love each day!

I cannot WAIT to show you the new BEAN on the block. These girls are in a league of their own, you can check out the previous Beans HERE, and this newbie, as well as the stamps from each day of the release will be available on Saturday!! DON'T MISS IT!!

BRIGHT BEAN

This spunky character is the latest addition to the Bean Collection, which are created as CLEAR STAMPS. If you're lucky enough to have one of these girlies in your collection, you will KNOW the high quality TGF clear photopolymer stamps! They give the perfect impression, they ink up fine first time round, and they smell GOOD, or maybe that's just me! Weirdo! Heh.

So I coloured this girlie using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match some older papers from Cosmo Cricket, perhaps it's their UpCycle collection? I haven't followed any kinda layout, I used the scraps I had left over and created a few jaunty angles and flagged banners. Those hot pinks, lime greens and pastel greens really work for me! I added some delicious Wild Orchid Crafts flowers in the bottom left hand corner, along with some lime green bakers twine to finish up this card.

Another thing I love about these BEANS (you could say the list is never ending..) is they are totally self contained. They've the image, the sentiment and a whole load of cute 'doodling' thrown in! I know what I'd love to do, get myself some of those ickle Memento pads, and ink one of these girls up RAINBOW STYLE-E! Any of you Memento collectors, try it out and let me know! LOL!

Here is the second card I made, with more autumnal colours and a whole load of bulk! LOL!! I tried out a new combo on her hair, I threw in some Burnt Umber atop my standard brown, still not sure whether I like it. What do you reckon?

Again I've used some older papers, this time from Kaisercraft - Homemade? collection. I love the burnt orange and light pastel greens in this collection, and I still have a bunch of papers left.. TO USE UP! There. I said it.

I've created my own little crochet flower, by taking some crochet trim and spiralling it up, attaching a Prima flower and a brad to the centre and wham bam. Loads of bulk and added texture! I've added droplets of gold Liquid Pearls here and there, some WOC goodness, my (what's becoming to be signature) clothes pin and that's it!!

So pleased you could stop by, I hope I haven't talked your ear off!! I will admit, this was typed up after I had a little power nap, so I'm full of BEANS. Get it! ;) Heh. Okay, I'll stop now.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm BLOG and leave comments each day with each new release with a chance to win your very own set! Release day is SATURDAY, and all of us Premiere Farmers will be holding a little BLOG HOP for ya, with another chance to see these designs in action, so be sure to clear your schedule for that. Winners from throughout the week will also be announced.

So just a heads up, this week there are FIVE new releases, 2 singles-a rubber and clear, a 4x6 set, and 2 HOLIDAY clear sets! Uh huh, we've SPOILED you all!!

Over and OUT! xo

A+ Fab Friday

Morning Tiddly Inkers! :) Another Fab Friday on the cards for you all over at Tiddly Inks! This time I have another 'back to school' kinda card! I think it'd be kinda fun to give your kid a little 'good luck' sorta card, to wish them on their way to start the new school year.

Kids over most of England don't go back to school til the start of September, so still plenty of time left! :) I'll be uploading these to my Cartolinas FB page soon too.

So this cutie is A-Plus Avenger - you guys knew that already. She's a total oldie but goodie! I've coloured her up using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Her dress is a similar colour to what my old school jumper is. So cute! :) Ahhh, I have good memories from school.

Anyway, I digress. I've kept the layout pretty simple-ish. Not many embellishments. I've used more scraps from My Minds Eye. I die cut an 'A' using my slice, I think it's kinda neat! :) High hopes and all that. I've stamped the sentiment using Harolds ABC's from Lawn Fawn in Real Red ink from SU!

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Cute Card Thursday - Back to School
- Delightful Challenges - Punches and Dies

Please be sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks blog and drool over the other Fab Friday stuffs the amazing DT have come up with!

I Need This

Halfway through the week already. Can I get a YEAHHH?! ;)

Remember that little owl I said I was SO in love with from Angie Delarie Products? Uh huh?
I found him, all coloured up and ready to go.. wedged between two pages in my Green Eco SMASH*. He was looking all lonely and unloved, so there was only one thing for it.

SMASH*

He's coloured up in my fave combo right now - turquoise and orange! :)

Pretty simple layout. I wanted to make a record of some song lyrics that I can really relate to. Ever since I heard the song I've loved them, and on that particular day (17/08) they meant more to me than usual.

Thank you for stopping by! Keep SMILING and keep SMASH*ING! xo

Tuesday 21 August 2012

Monochrome Splashhh

Hey guys! It's another SMASH* page from me today. I'm sooo getting into it! So much so that I've started on my second book. It's my Black Mod book.. and it's gonna be much like my Green Eco - full of stuff that make's me happy. So naturally.. it had to have something to do with STAMPING in there. First in line were my much unloved Simply Sassy stamps!

This fits with the new challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers perfectly. A challenge set by yours truly! ;) Heehee.

MONOCHROME IMAGE, WITH UNUSUAL HAIR COLOUR

Easy, PEASY! I know you guys will have a ball, breaking out of the mold, and perhaps trying a few new colour combos!! The ususual run of the mill hair colours can get boring after a while! ;)

This week we're sponsored by Joanna Sheen. The lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher.

Joanna Sheen

So here's my offering.

This is the gorgeous Strike a Pose from Simply Sassy. I can't seem to find a link over at Funky Kits. I think it's got to the point now, when the Simply Sassys sell out.. they're not getting restocked!! Get yours while you can and ger your collection complete!!

She is gorgeous, is she not?! So freakin' SASSY!! She's been coloured using ProMarkers. Obviously her hair had to be BLUE. I've used a combo of Cool Aqua, Duck Egg, Island Lagoon, Marine, Petrol Blue. I've also added some splashes of orange to other parts of the image. Turquoise and orange have gotta be my long term fave combo! ;)

Here's the whole page. You can only see half of the title as it extends over both of the pages. It's something like.. 'Everybody loves stamping, right'

A few scraps of paper from MME, some swap flowers, a delish SU! brad. All that good stuff! :) I'ma write my top 10 Sassy's on that little note as well as writing some fun stuff on the little tags. Can't wait to start filling this page up.

The SMASH* books are perfect for keeping those image you colour that you don't wanna give away! LOL. Selfish, I know - but they help me grow as a person! :P

I'd like to enter this page into these challenges:
- Charisma Cardz - Monochrome

Please stop by the Passion for ProMarkers blog and drool overt the teams amazing creations! Seriously. Woah!!

Warm W***** Wishes

Okay. *word of warning*

Sit down. Because.. you'll be on the floor if you don't. :)

CHRISTMAS CARD!!

I warned ya.

Yip. My first 'proper' one of the year. 'Proper' meaning.. it's gonna be the first of many.. until.. well.. :/ Christmas. Hopefully one a week. If not two. I daresn't write an updated Christmas card list.. it makes me sick just thinking about it. It's gonna be over 25.. I think. Yikes. Best get my butt into gear.

So I made this as part of The Greeting Farm Customer Chat Night, which took place on Friday 17th August over at Splitcoast Stampers. I was a real trooper and stuck with them from 1am-4am. YEAH! I had a blast, and it was great to chat with a bunch of like minded people.

So that cutie up there is part of the Twinkle Tots release, if I'm not mistaken? Wanna know a secret? I bought this girlie waaaaay back when I first started using alcohol markers.. and guess what?! It was still SEALED and in the PACKET until like a week ago!! That's disgusting.

But now I can officially say she's been coloured up, and I can cross off a Christmas card off my list!! Yeeehaaa!!

So that's it from me, before I go I'ma try my luck with some challenges. I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Challenge up your life - Christmas in August
- Craft your days away - Anything Goes
FAREWELL CHALLENGE
- Just Some Lines - Layer it Up
- Crafty Ann - Christmas in August

Thank you for popping by! :) xo

Vikings at Perthshire

Yoohoo guys! After an eventful day at my friends daughters Christening, and a little nap afterwards.. it's now time for another new release over at Angie Delarie Products!! Check them OUT!!

We've got VIKINGS for ya!! Can I get a..? *grunt*?! LOL!!

These two have a story behind them, so be sure to stop by the FB group sometime tomorrow and hear all about it from Angie herself! :) Stamps with meanings behind them are always such fun!

I came up with a tag and a SMASH* page to show these two off. Here goes.

Hope that's satisfied your thirst for some Angie Delarie goodness today!

I'm running low on twill stripe ribbon.. so I've talked myself into placing a ribbon order. HA! Like that took a lot of persuading!

New Baby Girl

Morning guys, it's me again - back with a card I've made with the same Lili of the Valley cutie I used in an earlier post this week - Baby with Teddy. I just know this stamp is gonna get a hell of a lot of use!

By the time this post goes live I might have just about fallen asleep, heehee. I've been up all night rocking SCS and The Greeting Farm Customer Chat Night!! FUN TIMES. It's my first one ever - and what with the time differences, I thought I'd make myself stay up and participate with this one while I'm on holiday from work! :)

Well, yesterday.. life took a turn. For the worse, for the better - that is yet to be seen I'm afraid. I've never been too deep or personal on this blog, so I'm not gonna start now. All I'ma say is.. it's eventually time to just start a fresh!

Now that's out there.. MOVING ON!! Wanna see my card?

Pink and lemon. That's girly? Yeah? Well it is now! LOL. I used a few papers from First Edition Bird Song, some pink twill stripe ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.. and see those flowers?! Prima flowers!! HELL YEAHH. I bought these babies when I first started out.. and I've been hoarding them forever. Why? Because that's what I do. NO MORE!! I'm using my stuff up!!

I've tried fixing my NetworkedBlogs app thingy on FB - so hopefully my posts will start showing up both on my FB page and my profile. Fingers crossed! :)

That's all from me today. I'ma go catch up on my sleepies! xo

On Your Christening

Evening peoples! :)
I'm doing a spot of blog hopping, catching up with folk and their amazing blogs and projects - while watching the hilarious Peter Kay on Channel 4.

Thought I'd update my blog with a cute little creation with an image I bought from LOTV not long back, for making some baby cards! Alota new lives being created around this time of year, what's the deal? I guess it's a must!

*cough*

So here's Baby with Teddy. I love this cutie, they're perfect for either girl or boys cards. This time, I coloured him up in blues and greens for a little boys Christening card. :) I've taken some papers from a couple My Minds Eye pads. Teamed up with some Marina Mist cardstock from SU!

You guys know how I've created that sentiment.. uh huh. Harolds ABC's from Lawn Fawn. Gaaaawd is that set stained now! LOL. Shows how much it's been loved though, right? ;)

What else? Some yummy blue seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.. it has a lush name.. but I can't think of it right now. :/ Some blue liquid pearls here and there. Done!

Thanks for stopping by. It has literally taken me HOURS to type this short post up. In between checking emails, PMs and making some TO DO lists. I'm pooped! Bed for me! :)

Over and OUT. xo

Tuesday 14 August 2012

Bugs and Kisses

So it's mid-day now. Day TWO of my jolly berries, and this cutie wraps up my last post for today. Have I saved the best til last? YKW.. I'm not sure. I totally love this girl and her hedgehog friend, but in all honestly.. as much as I am PETRIFIED of bees and all things bee.. I gotta say that BEE YOU FAIRY is my fave. For today at least. Until I make her into a card.. then I might change my mind! LOL.

Okay.. so this little lady and her spiky friend is..
BUGS AND KISSES

So this card is pretty CAS for me, I know. Don't die. I guess I can do it if I really put my mind to it.. although this is about as plain as I think I could manage. I wanted to keep it pretty flat as I'm gonna be posting it out to a lady who was very, very kind to me in a recent SMASH* swap. She loves ladybugs, perfect. Black and red, perfect.. aaand that sentiment from Amy R goes perfectly with this little couple! PERFECT!

I've used some scraps of paper from My Minds Eye.. Lost and Found 2 Rosy, perhaps? That 6x6 pad is nearly GONE! Yeah peoples, you read right. Within the space of about a week, I've said that TWICE. ;) That massive patterned paper stash is slowly diminishing. I promise.

These two cuties have been coloured using my go to medium.. ProMarkers and FlexMarkers. Okay.. be honest.. does Mr.Hedgehog look like he's got chickenpox?! That's what my boyfriend said about the little spots on his face. I thought it was cute! :( I've added a ton of layers to his spikes, but it doesn't really show in the picture.

I'd love to enter this card into these challenges:
- Craft Your Passion - Gone Buggy
- Make it Monday - Anything Goes
- Simon Says Stamp and Show - Favourite Technique
I love using a flicking technique with my alcohol markers to create strands of grass, which usually complete a summer scene just nicely! :)

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, I hope I've inspired you guys to stop by the Tiddly Inks BLOG and SHOP to pick up this cutie after drooling over some inspiration from the amazing DT!

xo

A little TWO in ONE

So this is my.. what?! THIRD post of the day. YEAH BWOY! I'm on it. :)

I'm gonna tell you now, before you get all excited about seeing some more ANNABELLE projects from me.. this is gonna be raw.. just coloured images. Time ran away with me, and truth be told.. I gotta get my ass into gear to get these made into cards by the end of the week.

I plan on giving my next door neighbour a card with..

FLUTTERBY ANNABELLE.

She always spends a lot of time in her garden, not necessarily catching butterflies in a net - shes on the other side of 50, but you know.. she likes the outdoors and stuff. She also appriciates handmade stuffs, so I always make an extra special effort. I'll post finished pictures of my projects when I'm done. Promise.

The little cutie on the right hand side, with the nestie all positioned ready to go is..

BEE YOU FAIRY.

Hmm.. for being a Bee hater.. this girlie is winning as my favourite at the moment. I think it's her cute little stance, and her hair, and her little honeycomb basket of flowers. She's just cute man.. even if she does have black and yellow stripes.

So there ya have it. Raw coloured images, ready to be all prettied up! :)
I dunno about you, but I love seeing shots like this on FB - before people match their images to a card. I hope you like it this time round too!! I couldn't not share these with ya!! I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE GONNA LOVE HER!

Be sure to stop by both the Tiddly Inks BLOG and STORE and pick your very own ANNABELLE UP. TODAY!! xo

New Girl on the Block

Uh-huh. Yeah. You read it right girls and boys.

Lemme recap. The date is.. 14/08.. the occasion is.. NEW RELEASE OVER AT TIDDLY INKS. Of course, I know you guys couldn't forget.. but just incase! ;)

UH-HUH. YEAH!!

This is ANNABELLE. Yet another cute character Christy's brain has come up with for us Tiddly fanatics to get colouring up. Honestly. I hope you guys are as excited as I am because I have been DYING to share these with you all!!

**This is my second of four Tiddly Inks posts for today. Hell yes. Tuesday 14/08 is gonna be dedicated to Tiddly Inks on my blog. Gonna stagger these creations for ya, so you don't get bored of scrolling through all of my (un)necessary waffle ;) - the stuff I just can't seem to post without**

SUNSHINE ANNABELLE

I've coloured her up in bright, but not bright?! sunshine-y colours to match my papers from My Minds Eye - Howdy Doody collection. I honestly have no idea where I was going with her hat?! At first I was gonna make it like a straw colour.. but I decided that after I had coloured her a red head.. I thought it might have clashed too much. Then I wanted to make it cream - but it got lost and looked like a cloud just floating there.. so I added some yellow. Rightly or wrongly - I dunno. But there ya have it. I love her layered dress and her little petticoat sticking out from underneath - too freakin' CUTE!

This is what blows my mind with Tiddly Inks images - especially the newer ones. They're so cute, small and compact.. yet they still manage to pack a massive punch when it comes to detail and quirkyness. LOVE! Sunshine Annabelle with her whimsical pose and cute outfit is no exception!!

I've cut her out using a labels 18 nestie and doodled around the embossed edge. When don't I?! It's kinda turned into an OCD thing I have. Nothing looks right without a little bit of doodling! :/ I'll break the habit some day.. I'm sure.

I've kept the layout pretty simple on this one.. tried to use up some left over papers before cutting into full 6x6 sheets. Stoopid, I know.. but I like to think I'm kinda frugal like that! HA! Who'm I kiddin'?! That super fun sentiment is from an Amy R set - she is quickly becoming one of my fave designers for sentiment stamps, she always picks fun fonts and cooks up the cutest phrases. I've punched that using the Decorative Label punch from SU! and added it off to the side of my design.

What else? Before I totally bore you and you nod off completely! LOL.
I've die cut some Provocraft hearts from Pool Party cardstock from SU! and embossed one of them before adhereing them together and adding the cutest little button from The Ribbon Girl, threaded with ivory twine, over the top. I've done the same on my yellow twill stripe ribbon bow and also stuck a yellow flower stick pin through too.

Along the bottom edge of the design I've layed some mint green mini pom pom trim, also from The Ribbon Girl, and wrapped some pink Doodlebug twine around to cover up my messy Glossy Accents which squidged out. Heehee. We all make mistakes, right? :) Some of us are just better at cover ups. LOL!

Hmm.. last but by no means least.. as they are one of my fave things ever.. liquid pearls. Mint green and pink to keep with the theme, dotted here and there to fill in some of the blank space! :)

Hope you likey!! I really love this girl. Be sure to stop back in a couple hours for more ANNABELLE reveals over at Cartolinas! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Summer
- House of Gilli - #39 Add a Sentiment
- Paper Pretties - Anything Goes

xo.

Summer Fun at Tiddly Inks

*waves* It's that time of the week again.. we've got a brand new challenge for ya over at Tiddly Inks!! It's also August 14th, which for you hardcore Tiddly fans will know is RELEASE DAY!! We got a heap load of goodness for you all today, let me tell ya! ;)

So first things first. New challenge.

SUMMER FUN!!
This could be just about anything to do with sunshine-y weather! Swimming, BBQs, sweet treats, whatever you'd like to show us!! I've gone with a beach theme and used Wryn - Beach Babe. Naturally ;) Living by the coast, there is nothing better than a trip to the beach on a warm day to feel the sea breeze on your face!

I've used loads of little layers in the form of tickets and patterned paper scraps from My Minds Eye Howdy Doody collection. I've coloured Wryn up with my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers to match. I've stamoed a sentiment from an Amy R set in Melon Mambo ink.

Aside from Wryn, the star of the show on this card has gotta be that handmade pinwheel. I have wanted to have a go at one of these for ages, and this seemed like the perfect kinda project. I guess you gotta use double sided paper for this, so some yummy MME paper was perfect. I've added a little coral button which I've threaded with yellow bakers twine across the section where the four corners meet. They're so quick and easy to make, but the really pack a punch. A few smaller ones in different sizes would looked cute in that corner too! Can you feel the sea breeze blowing that pinwheel around? Heehee.

Okay.. so I've waffled enough about this card me thinks. Any questions, just shout! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- The Crafty Pad - Summer Vacation
- Just Some Lines - Layer it Up
The Ribbon Girl Blog - Bingo
Image, Buttons, Twine
- Simon Says - Let's Play Bingo
Buttons, FREE, Punches

Thank you for stopping by, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for your summery creation! Please be sure to stop back at my blog and the Tiddly Inks blog to see the new images in the BRAND NEW RELEASE!

xo

Wanna see some Creatures!?

Good morning. Good morning. Today officially marks the first day of my holiday! HOLIDAY! :) One whole week off work. Bliss!! I got a loaaad of fun stuff to show you through out the week, so be sure to stop back at my blog and catch up with me. :)

Today, it's time for ANOTHER new release over at Angie Delarie Products. Boy, this girl just doesn't STOP! We've got a whole bunch of 'CREATURES' to show ya today. You guys know how much I love my animals, so this release was right up my street.

Without any more waffle I wanna show you all this amazing LION! Gawwwd, that mane!! I could eat him. He was such fun to colour, as are all of Angies digis. I decided to make a clean and simple tag for the characters from this set. Let these bad boys shine!

Next up is this crazy little Pig. Look at the splotches all over him, heehee. That could be mud, paint, glitter, anything you like. The possibilities to switch this character up are endless. I decided to colour him in quite garish colours, just because I could. I kinda like the combo! :) I've seen a lot of ladies leaving many areas of these digis just plain white, I decided to roll with that a little and left the biggest heart on this image blank. Kinda pops off the kraft tag.

I did have that amazing OWL coloured up too, but he's got lost in my freakin' SMASH* book somewhere!! Nightmare. I promise to share once I find him, because he was my favourite too!!

All of these CREATURES are my favourites, I know they'll be yours too!!

I'd like to enter these tags into these challenges:
- Less is More - Fur or Feathers
- Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
- Inspire me Fridays - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by! :) Happy Monday to ya all. xo

I'm with Genius

Hey guys. Thank you for stopping by today! :) I feel like I say that at the beginning of every post.. but I really mean it. I know how long it can take scrolling through all of your fave blogs, and if mine is among them.. well.. thank you! :)

I've got some Fabulous Friday Inspiration to share with ya in the form of some Tiddly Inks goodness!! I'm excited by this project. I think this little boy may be a new fave for me.. HA! I say that everytime I colour a different Tiddy image up. Christy is DA BOMB!! I've already told her I'd love to spend a day inside her creative head! LOL. :)

Okay.. so this is Genius! Give him a wave, you've gotta!! He's too cute! He's been coloured using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers - what else - to match my papers from My Minds Eye Lime Twist. I'm living dangerously guys.. I'm almost all OUT of this paper. I know. I freakin' KNOW!! It's good that I'm using stuff up.. but it's bad.. what am I gonna do for boy cards?! LOL! I'm on a paper pack ban.. soo.. I'ma struggle. I'm sure I'll come up with something *she says.. quietly.. full of doubt*

I've cut him out using my largest circle nestie and doodled around the edges with a Real Red SU! marker. I've gone down the stars route again.. how could I not. I've punched a few using my SU! Star punch from yummy turquoise polka dot patterned paper. The large lime green polka dot paper was the last of it's kind in my draw *wipes tear dripping from eye* and it wasn't quite long enough to be the base layer of my card.. soo.. I kept the little band that attaches it to the spine in the pack.. YKWIM? I then distressed all of the edges with my TH paper distresser and added more Real Red doodles. :) I folded the top corner over to reveal that.. golfy kinda pattern.. what is that called?! and tucked another turquoise star behind it.

I wrapped some lime green bakers twine around the right hand side of the design to balance my little sentiment strip, which I have created using a little Amy R stamp! <3 Some different punched circles using up that super cute hot air balloon paper and to fill in some gaps.. and finally some perfect little Doodlebug brads.

Job done. Cute? No? Love that boy! :)

Travel

Morning guys! :) Quickly stopping in with another commissioned card I made a few weeks back using the gorgeous newish papers from Basic Grey What's Up collection. LOVE the travel theme and the muted colours. Freakin' delish.

I used some dies and some EF's and some twill stripe ribbon.. aaaand an embellishment from the coordinating kit.. what else. Oh, of course. Harolds ABC's from Lawn Fawn to create my sentiment and the little age circle! ;) Stamped in Real Red from SU! LOVE! :)

I so didn't wanna part with that map paper. Truely. But hey, no more hoarding. Aren't I doing well? Everytime I craft and catch myself second guessing whether I actually wanna use something or keep it for myself.. I chant 'use it up, use it up' like some kinda nerd! LOL. :)

That's about it from me for today. I gotta get the housework done and then get my ass ready for work. GAAA!! Three more days then I'm off for 216 hours. :) That's 9 days for those of you who don't wanna break it down. HA!

Over and OUT. xo

At the Beachhh!!

Happy TUESDAY! :)

August. For real?! Yip. 2012 is zoom zoooooming past.

I'm not really sure how much of a 'summer' the northern hemisphere has had.. but today over at Passion for ProMarkers we're trying to celebrate the finer weather in life. Our challenge to you this week.. is to show us summery creations.

AT THE BEACH

I had a really tough time deciding which image to use on this card.. there are loaaaaads of summery/beachy ones out there to choose from. In the end I went with some Some Odd Girl goodness. I made my little cousin his 10th birthday card using Popsicle Tobie.

I've coloured him up using the following PMs and FMs. Check, check.. I wrote them down! ;) I know it's a rareity! LOL. These colours match the papers I've used from Echo Park This and That collection. Perfect for male cards and stuff.
Blush, Soft Peach, Rose Peach, Lavender
Cocoa, Cinnamon, Nutmeg
Pastel Green, Mint Green, Soft Green
Marsh Green, Olive Green, Forest Green
Oatmeal, Apricot, Pumpkin
Soft Lime, Lemon, Summer Sun
Soft Aqua, Pastel Blue, Cool Aqua

I've used some Core'dinations cardstock to create some sandy texture for Tobie to stand on. At the beach and all that! ;) I've also added some Cinnamon, Sandstone and March Hare around his feet on the image panel in tiny dots to mimic? HA! sand. :)

As for the card base, I've used another Some Odd Girl stamp and some Lawn Fawn alpha stamps to create the random 'Happy Birthday Cousin' sentiment. Really love how that turned out! :) 'Just Chill' and '10' has been stamped using Harolds ABC's from Lawn Fawn and die cut using an X-Cut die. I've added some Doodlebug brads to the holes and layered them over my image panel. Hmmm.. a little bit of yellow bakers twine tied in a pretty bow to finish this design off! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
- Love to Create - Punches and Dies
- MarkerPop - Bright Colours
- Paper Playtime - Hot and Spicy + die cut or punch
- Stamp with Fun - Maritime/ Summer
- Craft your Passion - Anything Goes

Please head over to the Passion for ProMarkers blog and see my other teamies BEACHY creations!! Can't WAIT to see what they've come up with! :)

New Adventure

You guys know.. I love colouring. I'm a huge fan of Letrasets ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, and although I have tried many other 'mediums' from Copics to Spectrum Noirs.. from Prismas to Watercolour Pencils.. my Letraset Alcohol Markers win. Hands down. Everytime. Which is why they're the only things you see me use on projects these days!!

Almost every image I colour.. I try and write down the combo in my notebook I have with me when I craft. Which is home to everything, from to do lists, to orders and things to do. As well as ideas I want to try and places I've seen them. It's all getting a little full.

SO! I decided to treat myself to a brand new My MeMo notebook.. to create a little ProMarker Journal.

So be on stand by. As my little book grows I'll post update pictures. So far I've created a page for my six fave skin combos!! :)

Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you're up to!

SMASH* on Saturday

Guess who's back - back again. ;)

The title gives it away. If you stopped by yesterday, you'll know that I've got a little SMASH* page with my purrdy cat to share with ya!! So here it is..

Just a heap load of randomness. I literally have no idea where half the stuff has come from, I just pulled red and green stuff from my little SMASH* tote, because  those were the colours I was feeling at the time. Perhaps that little Christmas fairy was niggling at the very back of my brain. Someone, please tell me I'm not alone in the 'running late with Christmas' creations. Please. LOL!

I do know that that button flower set up is from Sassafras. Only reason I know that.. is because I've been hoarding it like mad.. like since I even took up crafting a couple years ago. I don't think they make them any more! :(

Thickers.. and.. Dear Lizzie alpha stickers make up the title. I think.

I'm not gonna waffle at you any more! :) Thanks for stopping by. Over and Out. xo

Peaches in the Pink

I'm sticking to my promise, thus far. Right? I've had a post every day this week for ya! ;) Today is no exception.. it was a toss up between a comissioned card and a SMASH* page.. this gorgeous little card won over though, be back tomorrow for a SMASH* page featuring my little (big) Shadow Cat.

So here is the yummy.. "Peaches in the Pink" - NEVER a combo I'd ever think of doing.. but hell.. it just started coming together and I went with it. I used some of that gorgeous hexagon paper from My Minds Eye.. that I've been hoarding for the perfect project. Voila. :)

I've stamped my sentiment using Harolds ABCs from Lawn Fawn - which have been totally hammered these past months - using some yummy Pool Party ink from SU! A vellum doily, some twill stripe ribbon, a few buttons and liquid pearls, twine, ohh and some Wild Orchid Crafts goodness.

How do you guys feel about cards with no images? Do you find them harder to piece together? I dunno what it is.. it just takes me forever to decide on layers and papers and placement. Then I always go back to what I had decided on in the first place - making the process way more lengthy than it needs to be. I guess I have a problem with commitment before I play around with the look for a while first!! LOL!

In a way, I kinda like making cards like this as a 'break' in between colouring and tryna find colours to match my PM combos and stuff. Weird, as I love colouring more than anything.. but I also have a huge love affair with paper - so just playing with paper and stamps with no pens involved is very relaxing. No thinking involved really.

So, that's all from me today. I hope to catch up more with you all soon!!

Red Riding Hood

Morning Bloggers. It's been pretty quiet around here lately, huh? Apart from my already scheduled posts, I haven't been around much at all. So I have a lot of catching up to do!! I can only apologise to every single one of you for being a poop friend and blogger of late. I honestly have no excuse.. apart from the fact I am constantly tired these days. I'll work at catching up over the rest of the week. I promise!

So.. if any of you are on FB, you may know that I am now part of the Angie Delarie Products DT! YEAHHH! ;) I was asked at the middle of last month, and I thought about it for a couple minutes and was like.. YEAHHH!! Have you SEEN her designs?! Totally unique and original, just what us crafters need right now me thinks.

So without further adu.. AUGUSTS RELEASE is RED RIDING HOOD.

CUTE?! CUTE!! I decided to use the Woodsman and that cute little Wolf. CUTE! I know!! LOL!
I wanted this 'couple' to feature on a SMASH* page.. so I decided to print out a few more pictures from my trip to Edinburgh Zoo and get them SMASH*ed into my Green Eco book. Wanna take a looksie?

Edinburgh Birds!! That little white tag inside the pocket on the main tag - confusing - just explains that I'm not a huge fan of zoo's or birds/ animals in cages.. but when they're protecting a species for future generations.. I guess I'm sorta okay with it.

So that handsome Woodsman has been coloured using ProMarkers and FlexMarkers, as has his wolfie friend. I've fussy cut them both and attached them to my design using dimensionals. I've used some colours to match up with Echo Park - This and That collection. Gorgeous, manly yet soft colours! I LOVE that button eye. It gets me every time man. So freakin' quirky!!

While you're here..

Did you guys see the BRAND NEW Strawberry Whipettes release earlier last week?! Check out THIS LINK - which will take you to the Angie Delarie BLOG.

Here is another SMASH* page I made using two cuties from this release.

Ahh, I can't wait to see what this talented lady has up her sleeve for us in months to come. Be sure to stop by my blog over the next week or so, there is gonna be lots of posts happening. I promise.

Woah, that's two promises I have made in one post - let's hope I stick to them!!

Lots of love. xo
