50th Birthday

Yoohoo! :)

.. and on the last day of the month *waves* I have a card to share with you that I created waaaay earlier in the month.

I went with a very on-trend red, white and blue combo. I used an older Teresa Collins pad with that very combo! I love how fresh this looks with the baby blue and pops of red. Will definitely be trying this combo again.

I cut the LARGE 50 using my Cameo. I created a backdrop using an embossed die cut heart. I die cut the little 'SISTER' using a C.C Designs die and added that to another heart. I stamped a happy birthday sentiment using some Lawn Fawn alphas onto a Paper Smoochers banner.

I kept the card pretty clean..ish and simple with open spaces.. but that didn't stop me going crazy with the froofroo. I added some Doodlebug brads, Cheeky Chelseas Fimo doodads and some sequins.

Thank you for stopping by today!! I'll be back with a nip and a punch for the first of the month tomorrow, just for you! ;) xo

Love Story

Morning guys! :) I wanted to pop in and share my most recent anniversary commission with you all.

I created this for my boss to give her husband on their 3rd anniversary. I wanted to make something a little different to the usual froofroo stuff, as it is for a male after all.

The main part of this card was stamped using Love Story from My Favorite Things in Soft Suede ink from SU! I then added two banners, stamped with Lawn Fawn alpha stamps and hand cut. I embossed both the banner and the sentiment. As for the rest of the card I added a pop of blue with some leaves, brads and a mat underneath.

Last but not least I scattered a bunch of sequins, wooden buttons and Liquid Pearls. Thank you for stopping by today, peoples! :) xo

Some Bunny Loves You

Today. Today.. I'm excited to share this card I made for MMCS with you all.

I made this scene using a bunch of stamps from a couple stamp sets, both available at My Mum's Craft Shop. It was super easy to do, and all of the fussy cutting made this super relaxing.

For the sky line, clouds, moon and stars
For the adorable little rabbits

I used a bunch of cardstock: green, black, grey and navy. I also used a slice of paper from Carta Bella Baby Mine Boy for a different shade of green.

I stamped a sentiment from Honey Bunny in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

As for embellishment I sprinkled a few gold sequins through the sky and some Striped Candy Dots through the grass. Job done.

Be sure to stop by the blog throughout the week for inspiration from the AWESOME DT girls!

Spring Flowers

Afternoon everyone! :)

Apologies for the late post.. you guys know how I roll.

You have probably all spied the new challenge over at Passion for ProMarkers this morning!

Our wonderful Marie wants us all to use PEARLS AND PINS on our projects!

Here's what I came up with using the gorgeous Spring Flower Hair from A Day for Daisies, who are sponsoring this challenge and generously offering the WINNER a $12.00 gift certificate to their store! Wowzers.

I kept this card pretty simple, as I wanted all of the focus to be on that gorgeous image (I think I need to take myself on a little shopping spree over to the A Day for Daisies online store - LOVE the style of digi). I didn't even add a sentiment as I thought that took away from the image.

I had to create a space to add a couple pins and pearls, and I thought a wedge of organza bow would work perfectly for this. I double looped the bow, poofed it up and added a couple pins to the knot. I then searched my (extensive) pearl stash and came up with this big beauty which I adhered over the knot.

Perfect.

Thank you for stopping by so late on. I hope my card was worth the wait! :) Out. xo

Blue Wedding Challenge

Morning guys! :) Another week DONE - we can tick that one off! ;) Even better news is.. I'm off work next week. Yipppeee!! Another full crafty week ahead of me. I cannot WAIT!

I know what you're thinking.. "Boy, oh boy. Weren't you just off?!" I was. You're right.. but I gotta get my holiberries in at work before BOOM.. all the weeks are gone. I don't think I'm off again til August, so you can all rest assured that I will be grafting 'til then! ;)

Onwards.

Here's my latest WEDDING COMMISSION from a lovely lady who is slowly (I hope) becoming a regular. This is the second card she has ordered from me and from what she told me, she was super pleased with it. That's always what I like to hear - it's what I do this for. I hope the married couple love it too.

I used my Cameo to create the names for the centre piece of this card. I then created a little Paper Smooches banner to stamp the date. I fussy cut that and added it to the bottom of the card.

For a little decoration I added some My Favorite Things - Blooming Roses in shades of blue, and I die cut them using the Rose Bouquet Dies. I added the standard froofroo of sequins, pearls and doodads.

LOVE! :) I hope you do too. Thank you for stopping by. HAPPY SUNDAY. xo

Flowers and Birthdays

Hello guys! :)

It's time for some more weekly inspiration from me over at My Mum's Craft Shop.

You might remember THIS card I shared last week with Big Anya Styles, well this week I'm using the gorgeous

I stamped her using Angel Pink ink from Memento and coloured her using my ProMarkers and FlexMarkers.

I used some delicious papers from My Minds Eye - Record It - Here is Happy! LOVE the colours in these papers, and it pushed me to use a new combo for my pinks. Cerise, Magenta, Maroon.

I used some Lawn Fawn stamps to create a unique sentiment along side a birthday stamp from Amy R Stamps - Great Birthday Greetings.

As for embellishments, I know.. I went a little crazy.

I also used My Favorite Things - Die-namics Rolled Daisy for some 3D embellishments and also to echo the stamp design! :)

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to visit the MMCS blog each day for some delicious inspiration! xo

Anniversary Challenge

Morning guys! :) I hope the weather is still glorious wherever you are today. I'm still sore off getting burnt at the weekend - it's my own fault, I know!! I went on a bike ride thinking it was just super warm and not that sunny.. I couldn't have been more wrong. Onwards.. *whispers* - I will learn the hard way.

So Passion for ProMarkers are bringing this weeks challenge with a BANG! This month with our ANNIVERSARY challenge!!

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY, GIRLS! :)

We've got a really simple challenge for you all today.. so simple that we're hoping to have entries in the triple figures - don't let us down! ;)

We wanna see..

DIE CUTS

I'm sure there's a lot of us out there.. who have a ridiculously huge collection of dies that we love and adore, so a challenge like this is perfect for that! ;) Plus, it gave me a good excuse to break out my new SEQUINS DIES from My Favorite Things. I know.. sequin dies.. to make sequins.. from paper. Of course that was a no brainer and I just had to, had to have them in my life.

Before I show you my project, I know you wanna know what prizes are up for grabs, right? ;)

Letraset - 12 pack of Promarkers Set 1
DSB - £10 voucher
Michele R Designs - $10 worth of digi papers
Polkadoodles - 2 digis from the work & play range (office & receptionist)
Little Claire designs - 1 silhouette 'Elephants' clear stamp
Angel crafts - still to be confirmed

I merged a couple images from Some Odd Girl for this card. This is Woodsy Mae and Summer Kaylee, perhaps two of my favourites from Some Odd Girl. I coloured them up with ProMarkers to match my papers from Echo Park.

I tried out a new skin combo on Summer Kaylee, and I'm still not 100% sure I'm happy with it. It was Blush, Sunkissed Pink, Coral and Burnt Orange, instead of my usual Ivory, Blush, Peach and Soft Peach that I used on the girl on the right (Woodsy Mae). Hmm, maybe it'll grow on me.

As for my die cuts - I used the sequins dies I mentioned before as well as a fence die from C.C Designs and a couple XCut sets, the homespun heart (I think it's called) and a speech bubble die for my main sentiment.

Obviously I went a little crazy with little doodads, sequins and pearls. I can't help myself.

BE SURE TO HEAD OVER TO PASSION FOR PROMARKERS TO JOIN IN WITH US THIS WEEK. THERE ARE AMAZING PRIZES UP FOR GRABS!

True Friendship

Morning!! :) Happy Hump Day.

I know you guys have seen this Big Anya Styles from The Greeting Farm a loooad over here on my blog - but boy oh boy is she popular. She is also a dream to colour up.

This time round I stamped her in Angel Pink Memento ink and coloured her with ProMarkers to match Dorothy papers from MME. I used a bunch of XCut dies, including the oval, scalloped oval and the cute little hearts. Oh, and some of my Paperchase stash made it onto this card in the form of that gorgeous silver grosgrain. Pwetty.

Here is a list of supplies you can pick up from My Mum's Craft Shop:
MMCS Value Embellishment Pack - Striped Candy Dots
MMCS Value Embellishment Pack - Clear Coloured Gem Dots

That's all from me for today. Be sure to stop by the MMCS BLOG each day to gather yourself some crafty inspiration! xo

Eat, Sleep, Skate.

As my week off work comes to an end (back to work on Monday.. Booo!!) I have tried to cram as much crafting in as possible. With the pressure of upcoming orders, and flagging with my DT work I have definitely regained my mojo!! Yippeee!!

So I've created a card using the latest T4T design (late.. I know)..

I've coloured this dude up using my ProMarkers to match papers from My Minds Eye. I printed him out at almost 5", so he took up most of the card. I decided to embellish the image panel and go easy with the patterned paper. I LOVE that plaid though!

First I stamped a bunch of circles from My Favorite Things - Bokeh Builder with Love Letter, Teal Zeal and Dandelion Memento ink. I then layered a bunch of polka dot buttons, yellow and blue brads, Papermania shimmer domes, red gemstones and blue sequins. I LOVE the froofroo.

Off to get my colour on! ;) xx

Ellie says HI!

I'm back again! I knowww, my posts are like buses. My apologies.

If you're looking for my Passion for ProMarkers post, click HERE to be taken there.

This time I'm here to share some My Mum's Craft Shop inspiration with you all. This week Kitty wanted us to show off Characters, and it appears Tiddly Inks is SUPER popular with us DT girls, just check out the posts from previous days.

I used the adorable Ellie Says Hi from Tiddly Inks
I teamed her up with some papers from My Minds Eye - Now and Then Dorothy
For some added froofroo I used some MMCS £1 Embellishment packs:

You may not be able to see too well but I also added some white embossing paste the the corners of the navy patterned paper using a stencil from My Favorite Things - Spring Flowers. I love the added texture that it creates, although it's hard to pick up in the pictures.

I also added some AB white sequins I picked up from The Yorkshire Trading Company on Saturday, along with some pink half pearls and some pink liquid pearls. I heat embossed the sentiment onto some Kraft cardstock using some delicious Memento Luxe inks and clear embossing powder. I also added some Rose Bud Fireworks to the Kraft cardstock matt too.

That's about all from me, for the rest of the day at least. I bet you'll be glad of that! ;) Back soon with more papery goodness. Loves. xo

Mmm, yummy!!

Morning guys! :) Sorry for the late post.

You'd think having a week off work would mean I have a whole week to just focus on my crafty love and making cards and typing up blog posts and stuff. Sadly, that's not the case. I get side tracked with a whole load of other stuff that adult life brings up, you know.. the boring stuff. Anywho.

Better late than never. I guess you've all seen the new challenge over at

This week I picked the theme, and I want you to show me
YUMMY FOOD + DRINK.

The team have done an AWESOME job on this one, and I just know you're gonna draw plenty of inspiration from them! Here's what I came up with for  the challenge

I was still on my clean and simple kick when I created this card, which is why you see a lot of white! Not my usual style, but it's growing on me. Also, not a slice of patterned paper in sight! ;)

So I created this entire card using Sugar Rush stamps from Paper Smooches. I loveeee that iced cupcake. There is also a doughnut and an old school milkshake in the set too (which you can see being used HERE). So fun!! I stamped each of the images I wanted to use in Angel Pink ink from Memento onto Neenah Solar White Cardstock and went to work with my ProMarkers.

Yellow: Soft Lime, Lemon, Yellow
Orange: Mango, Bright Orange, Orange
Blue: Glacier Blue, Arctic Blue, Sky Blue
Brown: Tan, Cinnamon, Cocoa

I fussy cut each of the images and placed them on my card in a flowing pattern along one side and corner. I used the 'CELEBRATE' stamp, also from the Sugar Rush set and heat embossed it using clear powder and Thatched Straw and Persimmon ink both from Versamagic along the width of the card to give that big yummy cupcake some grounding!

I finished  the card off with some sprinkles in the form of half pearls in orange and a soda colour. Very lovely. They're from Cheeky Chelsea's Fimo Charms on FB! I highly recommend her!

So how'd you like it? Be sure to rustle up a yummy creation to share with us over at Passion for ProMarkers and link it up so we can come have a gander! I look forward to seeing what you all create. xo
