Tickled Pink Stamp Challenges

Here's the thing. I went over to the Ticked Pink challenge blog last night before bed, to upload my card for this challenge, and I was only a fortnight ahead of myself! HA! I nearly died. I was like.. uhhh, my card does not fit next fortnights challenge in any way, shape, or form. Luckily though, I did have my head screwed on when I wrote down the challenge criteria in my diary! :) Dya see the things that can happen when I ain't attached to the laptop while crafting?! It's dangerous.. but OH so more enjoyable.

So.. this week over at Tickled Pink Stamps we want to see..

SHABBY CHIC

Need some inspiration?! Check out the challenge blog for some inspirational pictures, and of course the gorgeous creations from the DT. Here is my take on the challenge.. you guys probably know I ain't too shabby chic-ish.. you know how it is. But I threw in a little bit of white cheesecloth from WOC and wham, bam.. you know the rest! ;)

I used August, one of the lovely Party Pinkettes. I've coloured her with Copics and Promarkers and fussy cut her out. I adhered her to the card using dimensionals. I've used some bright paper (which isn't al that shabby chic, but I fancied it) from My Minds Eye Lime Twist collection. I've doodled some of the edges to tie the busy papers together.

I created the Yumm! Cake, sentiment using some cream Jenni Bowlin alpha stickers. The sentiment carries on to the inside of the card to tie it together.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Cooking it up with Katie - Anything Goes
× Inky Impressions - Use Ribbon

How's you're day spanning out? Me? Oh, I'll be busy, but what's new?! ;) Got a bunch of wedding cards to get sorted out after work. :) Then I plan on making myself a lovely chicken curry with basmati rice for tea. Mmm, making my mouth water. Shame I'll be eating alone again. :(

  4. Really adorable, Lou! Love all those layers. We're really happy that you played along in the challenge at Cooking It Up with Katie this time. Remember, the challenge will run for the whole month (until January 3) and you can enter a total of 3 times, but only 3 just to be fair to everyone. :-D Happy Holidays.
