Those Cute Little Critters at Pollycraft

Monday, Monday. Again. Don't half come round quick. Hope you all had a good weekend? Me.. ohhh I just crafted the days away.. just what I needed actually. Been getting ahead with some DT stuff, and creating little hand made bits and pieces and gathering supplies while I (not so..) patiently await the arrival of my Green Smash* book!! :) Should be here ANY DAY!

CUTE CRITTERS!!

Know who was PERFECT for this challenge? The gorgeous new character on the block.. Barclay!! Check him out HERE. The cutest squirrel about. Squirrel. Love that word/ animal. Squirrel. 

Okay.. HA! So..

I had a blast colouring this little guy with my PMs and FMs. Look at the size of that tail man?! I'm in love with him. :) Think next time I'll make him a little red squirrel. Because there almost definitely will be a next time. I've kept the card pretty simple. I'm sticking to my resolution about tryna build up my male card stash. It's happening. All be it slowly. :)

I've embossed some AC cardstock with a Plaid EF from Sizzix. Kinda like how that looks against the same colour cardbase. :) Kept the layout simple-ish. I've used some papers from My Minds Eye. I've added a little.. uh.. I'ma call it a 'mixed element' spot to the bottom right hand side. All in prep for the beginning of my Smash* journey. I've white embossed a birthday sentiment from Hero Arts and that was that!!
