SOG Valentine Release Hop

Get ready to feel the love with this BRAND NEW clear stamp release from Some Odd Girl. This release not only has some fun new stamp sets but we’ll also be debuting a new fun size set you’ll love!

Welcome to our Valentine's Release Hop!

I know it may be cold outside and where you are the ground might be covered in snow.. but we're out to warm your heart with a release that will make you want to pinch cheeks and give free hugs to strangers and family alike! Heehee :)

I wanna introduce ya to..

LOVEY TOBIE

Check out his expression. Such a cutie, and oh so happy to be giving his linked hearts to someone! I have used four of the six stamps from this set to create my card. Let me talk you through it. I've used some gorgeous dark brown/ kraftish coloured cardstock from my local craft shop for my card base along side some gorgeous MME papers from the Paris and Co collection. Yum.

I have used one of the sentiment stamps from the set as well as the little heart to layer it up. Too cute. I have cut my sentiment strip into a banner for some added interest. The patterned paper base has been stamped with the stripey heart in opposite corners - again for some added interest. Sets like these are great as everything ties together.

Have you seen the colour of that cardstock? It's just scrummy. Gonna have to come up with my own name for it! LOL. Here you can see where I've used the little heart from the set to add some details around the edges of my image panel.

Here is a close up of the bunch of embellishments I used. Some American Crafts buttons, some WOC flowers and a few brads, a mixture of Basic Grey and WOC. :) So cool. I ran my blue seam binding through my Frayed Burlap DI ink pad to help it tie in with the colour combo and tied some navy blue bakers twine around the knot.

Want a little sneak at the rest of the release that you can start ordering on Monday? Then hop around the Odd Girls' blogs and see what treats they have in store for ya!!
