Goodbye May, Hello June.

Tomorrow, it's JUNE! Half way through 2013 by the end of the month. Seeeerious.

Onwards.

Here's a little card I thought I'd share with you guys before the month is through.. I used some delicious Wild Orchid Craft Goodness, some papers from.. you guessed it.. My Minds Eye (can't get enough of their stuff lately..) and some alpha stamps from Lawn Fawn, some die cut numbers from my Slice and a gorgeous South African Elephant postage stamp I found on Google! :)

So down to why I'm really here..

Little Elle!!

This is a card I made aaaages ago using an image from the (then) new release from Pollycraft. Have you guys  checked out Paulas new website? It's fantastico. So much fun, new stuff!!

Anywho. I digress. This is Huge Thanks Elephant, and she.. I think she's a she.. is just perfect for a million things. This time, she was adorning a birthday card for a lady who loves Elephants. 

I coloured Ellie the Elephant ;) using my ProMarkers. Have you guys seen Fayes coloured up image? See HERE - it's GORGEOUS! She really works those markers!!

Betcha Thought..

I was gonna miss the Pollycraft DT Call deadline.

Fear not, friends.

I printed out the adorable Daisy from the Candyfloss Crew (Don't you LOVE it?!) out late yesterday afternoon.. and spent nearly the entire night in front of the TV colouring her. Then.. I had to go to bed.. then.. I had to get up and go to work.. and I've only just got round to finishing up a card with her.

I printed her out at 5" so I had a lot of Daisy to colour.. and I made a pretty simple card by my standards with just some pretty papers, a slice of ribbon and a button here and there. Oh, and of course a few drops of Stickles and Liquid Pearls. :)

My papers are from My Minds Eye Memorable collection. GAWD. I can't get enough of the stuff. I've added some lace and twill stripe ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. I loved that paisley paper too much to cover it up anymore. 

I coloured Daisy with my ProMarkers. Here's a list of combos some of you may be interested in:

Hair - Buttercup, Mustard, Gold, Raw Sienna

Jeans - Stonewash, Cloud Blue, Cobalt Blue, Midnight Blue

Pullover - Tea Rose, Budding Rose?, Dusky Rose, Antique Pink

How pretty is she? Perfect for all sorts of occasions. I added an old Pollycraft sentiment to the side of the image, which I hoped would leave me more room for embellishment on the card.. look what happened?! HAH!

Time for a CELEBRATION!!

It's a biggie today over at Passion for ProMarkers!

Now onto some inspiration..

I used the gorgeous Fancy from Saturated Canary as well as some papers from Teresa Collins. I've coloured her up with my ProMarkers and given her a rich red dress with a grey bodice. I love the ribbon and roses in her hair so I coloured them to match the rest of her pretty outfit. To add a little contrast I coloured the daisies blue, and added baby blue Liquid Pearls to her hair too. 

I used a bunch of Wild Orchid Craft goodness as well as a rolled paper daisy I die cut using a MFT die. Those papers from Teresa Collins include a page of little instax frames? which I cut up and layered behind my sentiment which I stamped using some Lawn Fawn alpha stamps and die cut using a La-La Lands banner die.

Dancing with Ginger!

This girl has a kinda salsa flair to her I think. She's such a treat to colour - I love that dress. Next time I'ma be brave and colour her up as a platinum blonde with a rich red dress. For now, I stuck with more pastel colours.

This is Ginger from Time for Tea Designs. 

I've coloured her with ProMarkers to match my papers from My Minds Eye, which I can't stop using at the moment. In case anyone is interested in the combo for her dress - Tea Rose, Dusky Rose, Antique Pink.  

I used a bunch of die cuts on the right hand side of the labels 10 spellbinder. (That was a challenge I set myself last week. I don't have many Spellbinders and I always use the same ones over and over, my labels 10 just sits unloved as it's kinda a silly shape. I used to use it all the time for home made tags). There are some Whimsy Stamps things, Xcut, Amy R Stamps and La-La Land Crafts. I stitched some buttons here and there and added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. That's about it from me today.
