An EXTREMELY Long Day..

I have been up since 6:45 this morning, purely out of choice. As I wanted to get ahead crafting-wise and make sure I was up to date (as far as I can be) with DT creations, I also had a request for a birthday card from my Mam, and there was a few challenges I wanted to enter, so I had to make a card for those too.. I ain't gonna show you them all today, that would be silly. I'll stagger the pictures out over a couple of days so you don't get sick of this one post! LOL. I have just now finished up - so I shall try and make this a quick one.. I need a break! But then after a break comes.. you guessed it. Uni work. Joy..

Here is the card I'm showing you today..

I have used some American Crafts - Dear Lizzy design paper cut with my Slice into a square with a postage stamp edge as a background to my stamped image, as well as some Pretty in Pink cardstock from SU! which I have embossed using Sizzix - Basic Grey: Plaid embossing folder. I have had that red ribbon lying around for ages, it was just long enough to fit onto a 5.5" card with a cute little bow.

The stamped image is Fleur Anya from The Greeting Farm - I love their images, they are so easy to colour and look so bloomin' cute!!

I added some buttons down the left hand side and threaded one with some pink embroidery floss - in keeping with the colour combo and also following a CCMC sketch.

I finished the card off with some red faux stitching around the outside of the basecard - simply with a red fine gel pen.

It has been icy/rainy/miserable and cold here today, but hey, I always moan when its hot, so I ain't complaining now. I've had a great day of crafting - and have hopefully got it all out of my system long enough for me to finish up assignments over the weekend!!

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Colour Create #61 - Pink, red & white
× Do you stack up #1 - Cute as a button - their first ever challenge, with 13 prizes up for grabs, hop on over now..
× Cute Card Thursday - Challenge #146 - Out with the old
× CCMC - 132 - Sketch Challenge

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you get to enjoy a more exciting night than me! xo
