A welcome return to craft-y-ness. *BIG SMILE*

I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth - I promise. What with uni assignments and my boyfriends family life things have all been a bit hectic the past week. But I'm going to be back with a bang! :) I managed to get all three assignments finished ONE WHOLE DAY before the deadline, I couldn't believe it, usually I'm a 'leave it until the night before' kind of girl (not out of choice - I seem to perform better under pressure.. honest) but this time around I set myself a challenge.. to NOT do that. Although an all-nighter was still pulled it wasn't the night before! :) I handed them in today and picked up some marked assignments that were due in before Christmas - I'm heading down that 1st class road I tell thee. Very impressed with myself this year. But hey.. you didn't come over to hear about that.

Here is a card I want to share with you today. It is using a sketch from Challenge#22 over at the Trimcraft forum, I love joining in on challenges over there, the feed back you recieve is so welcome! :) Anyway..

Here it is..

I suppose I should apologise now - I inked up yet ANOTHER Fleur Anya, but come on, the girl is sooo cute!! And right now, I'm in {love} with The Greeting Farm and she is the only one I got!! Talking of TGF - I may download some of their digis right after I publish this post!! Sounds like a good plan to me! Hehe. I made her a brunette this time - I kinda like it, but looking back I wish I had blended out the white bits with maybe some Ivory, just so the lines weren't as sharp. Ahhh well, there's always next time - its good to learn from our mistakes.

Here is a close up of those gorgeous flowers she has in her hair!! Yum. Oh, and also.. my incredibly messy stitching. You know when you're doing something that you wish you had never started?! That was one of those moments right then. Sooo much HAND stitching on this card - it took me nearly an hour. My thumb was totally aching - is that natural? Or is my thumb super unfit?! Don't think I'll be trying out that much stitching on a card for a very long time.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:

While having time out when I got in from uni today - and while trying to get my creative juices flowing I decided to organise my ProMarkers, as I have quite a collection  now.

Regular visitors to my blog - especially through WOYWW - will know I keep my PM's in Ariel Excel Tab boxes, they are the perfect size and stack up nicely (I just need to get around to decorating them which I tell myself will happen, in actual fact.. I highly doubt it ever will. I'm not really one for 'altered'/'decorated' items).

I have some sticky spots, hold on.. lemme get the name *runs to bookcase* 'Self-Adhesive White Labels'. Not a very original name I know, but they do what they say on the tin, and they're round. Although not quite the right roundness for the ends of my PM's - so a small circle punch does come in handy. It just makes it very difficult to peel the backer off!! HA! I have them in four boxes. Box 1) browns, greys and neutrals, Box 2) blues and greens, Box 3) reds and pinks and Box 4) oranges, purples and yellows. Works well for me, as I can quickly look through the side of the box at the little sticky label that I have coloured in with the corresponding colours and pick my shade. Easy as that. Now if only I had of chosen Copics as my colouring medium - I needn't have gone through all that. Yuck.

Well, thats all from me. I'm about to go butter myself some scones with strawberry jam and whipped cream to sit in the fridge while I make my tea of cheese and onion sausages with loadsa buttery mash and bisto gravy. Lovely. :) Oh, but before that, I need to make sure the parcels that I need to send out tomorrow are all sealed and addressed! :) And I need to make some little notelet thankyou cards to put in with them. :) Enjoy your night, and thanks for stopping by. xo
