My Favourite Things #October

So.. is everyone else's Blogger being a frickin' pain?! Sheesh, I wish they'd just sort. it. out!! Here is my favourites post for this month. I'm totally behind.. with like.. everything. Including sleep - which is never good!! I don't even feel better for the extra hour I had in bed this morning. Never mind!! At least my phone went back automatically so I wasn't like an hour early for work! LOL.

So first up we've got some..

Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha Cardstock Stickers

Jenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha Cardstock Stickers - Vintage RedJenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha Cardstock Stickers - Vintage BlackJenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha Cardstock Stickers - Reverse BlackJenni Bowlin Tiny Circle Alpha Cardstock Stickers - Vintage Brown

They can be found HERE at Sarah's Cards LTD. This is personally get mine!! I love using these to add personalised sentiments, and on the odd occasion, names, to cards. They're the perfect little size for card makers and you can get them in loadsa, loadsa colours.

On the theme of alpha stickers I'm also loving Cosmo Cricket mini alpha stickers and Sassafras mini alpha stickers, although they ain't as mini as the others.

Most of you know I was on a WOC kick a couplea months ago.. well now I think it's Liquid Pearls HA! I only own White Opal and Baby Blue - but hell, they're gorgeous. So quick and easy to fill in blank areas on cards and stuff.

Hmmm.. what else?!

Only Saturated Canary Digi Images of course! ;) See Krista's amazing Etsy shop full of digi goodness HERE. Here are a few of my faves..

Peace and Love HipsterChristmas Angel, A RagamuffinWindy Day

On the line of images.. over the past couple of weeks I've developed a new found love for LOTV images. I own like.. 18.. and I just NEVER wanna colour them up. Know why? Because I can't. They always turn out poop.com. So about a week ago I stamped a load of Christmas ones and sat in bed and coloured. Not only was it really theraputic (it took me foreva) but I was actually quite pleased with the results! ;) The images are ready and waiting for a few of my custom orders so keep your eyes peeled over here for them. I would love to hear your opinion on them.

Think I'm gonna wrap this up now and get stuck back into the Xfactor. Sophie and Misha in the bottom two?! WTH is going on?!

Lots of love. :)

P.S Brace yourself for Christmas over at Cartolinas. HA! I'm gonna be Christmas till Christmas now. Excited as EVER!!

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges

Ohhhh, the Halloween Gift and Craft Fayre is drawing ever closer! In an attempt to get myself organised and more Halloween-y I decided to make another cute little tag using some tag bases from Papermania for my project over at Tickled Pink Stamps for the new challenge..

PHOTO INSPIRATION

challenge 43

How's that suit ya? ;) Awesome picture, right?

I have coloured Lil Pinkette - Haunting Witch Audrey using Copics and ProMarkers and fussy cut her out. I tried a softer combo for her oranges - Oatmeal, Honeycomb, Ginger. How'd you like it?!

I used some awesome Amy R stamps, stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink from SU! and some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut it out using a small labels four nestie and adhered it straight to the tag base. I then wrapped some orange bakers twine from The Ribbon Girl around the tag and added Audrey over the top using some 3mm dimensionals. To finish off I dotted a few groups of White Opal Liquid Pearls around the image. :)

Need some more inspiration for our inspiration challenge? ;) Head on over to the Challenge Blog now and see what the rest of the ladies have made for ya. You won't be disappointed! I can't wait to see how you interpret this picture.

I would like to enter this tag into these challenges:
× Crafting for All Seasons - Halloween
× I Break For Challenges - Halloween
× Scrapalicious - Halloween Spooks

Take it easy! :)

Quixotic

Good afternoon!! Here I am sharing my Quixotic Card this week. I post on Wednesday's over on the Quixotic Blog, but I seem to have lost the use of my brain over the past few days.. and I forgot to post here. HA! I hope you've all had a better start to the week than me.

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet 'cause I am pooped!! I did have a plan in mind to use the Quixotic Sketch as inspiration for this card, but I've only recently got my laptop back to life after leaving my charger at my boyfriends over the weekend. NEVER again. I've been having withdrawls. So, inspite of the fact I don't have a photographic memory.. I had to go with something different.

Instead I used an adorable Some Odd Girl Stamp - Tobie and His Puppy stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I've had this stamp for forEVA but only just got round to inking him up now. Is that bad?! I don't know why I put it off for so long, him and his pup are the sweetest (of friends)!! There are so many colour options with this image too, you could make your project really personal! :)

I have coloured Tobie using Copics and ProMarkers to match papers from MME Mabel 6x6 paper pad. I've also used a paper doily and some American Crafts Ribbon. The edges have been distressed and I've doodled around the main panel on the cardbase using a brown fineliner.

Copics - Skin: YR000, YR00, E11, R30; Hair: E33, E35, E37; Eyes: E33, E35; Dog: E44, E47, E49, W0, W1, W3
ProMarkers - Jeans: Cornflower, China Blue, Midnight Blue; Oranges: Honeycomb, Ginger; Greens: Mint Green, Soft Green

Like I said, short and sweet! ;) Enjoy your Thursday.. whatever you may be doing.

Pollycraft Challenges #116

Hey all, I'm gonna keep this real short and sweet, 'cause it's late, and I'm pooped. Oh, and Despicable Me is coming to an end and I want to be asleep within the next half hour at the most! LOL.

So this is my post for the new Pollycraft Challenge which was picked by our very own Mary J and went live on Monday. We want to see

SPOOKY GOINGS ON

Some of you may or may not know that I've got my second ever craft fayre this Saturday. It's Halloween themed and there will be fancy dress and trick or treating all happening. So I decided to make another little tag to add to my collection. It's such a shame that the UK don't make a big deal about Halloween - I don't know many.. if any people.. who send and receive halloween cards, so I went with something a bit less specific. Tags can be used for millions of things *short and sweet, Lou*

So here is what I came up with for the challenge this week..

Of course I had to use Luna, she just screams "awesome" to me. I decided to colour her in more subtle shades this time round - she looks so neat. Do those eyes remind you of anyone? Edward Cullen perhaps? Well.. that's the look I was going for. Not as honey golden as his, I'll admit!! But they look better IRL than on this picture - isn't that always the case?!

I added a sentiment from an Amy R set and some little "x" stitches made using a brown fineliner. Some bats in the top portion and some orange bakers twine complete this little project.

Once again, sorry I'm so late. I'd left my laptop charger at my boyfriends over the weekend, what a nightmare it has been. I now feel extremely lost and have a lot of things to be catching up on.

Roll Up, Roll Up. It's SUNDAY!!

Now that Sundays are 'free' from posting on my blog, I thought I'd do a little weekly round up (obviously not every week, 'cause my life just ain't that interesting) - but I thought it'd be nice for the people who read my blog to get a little insight into stuff other than my crafting, but admittedly it will mostly be crafting!! HAHA. Let's see how it goes. I totally stole this idea from Kim Dellow's Blog, but the girl is amazing - I'm sure she won't mind! The whole round up/ news thing seems to be catching. Check out Simonne's Blog too!! :)

Unfortunately while you are sitting reading this post I'll be at work - sore feet and all. Yuck. No crafting time today I tell ya, and I'm missing out on my Sunday roast!! :( On the plus side, I sat for almost four hours in my car yesterday.. colouring. Whilst the boyfriend played rugby. It was far too cold to be standing still on the sidelines!!

*********************************************

You all ready for some NEWS?! Check out Paulas post over at Pollycraft right NOW.. There are some MAJOR plans in the pipeline, you guys will not wanna miss out. PLUS Paula's having a huge sale on ProMarkers

SHOP NOW!!

*********************************************

So this week.. I found this amazing opportunity floating about there in blog land. If you like The Octopode Factory stuff, you GOTTA check out THIS POST over at Lily's Blog. The girl and her designs blow my mind!! If I didn't have so much already going on I would so apply!! Why does life have to be so busy?!

I also want to share a link to Kristina Werners Blog - she was the girl who totally introduced me to card making through her YouTube channel a few years back now. I cannot thank her enough!! She has the third series of her Holiday Card Making Series 2011 up and running now, it's well into it's third week.. so head on over to her Blog now and see what you've been missing out on!

Holiday Card Series 2009

Along the lines of inspirational girls.. have you lot checked out Amy Rysavy's Blog - Prairie Paper and Ink. If not, get yo butts over NOW. She's recently wrapped up a Halloween Card Making Series and has a Christmas Card Making Series in the pipeline. Wowzers! I've been a follower of her blog for aaaages and I always sit and watch her videos when I'm stuck for inspiration.

I don't know if any of you know, or follow me over on Facebook, but I've been thinking about 'crafting on the go' lately - well, transporting some of my craft stuff too and from my boyfriends! LOL. Whenever I'm there I'm always itching to be doing something while he watches the football/ rugby or plays on his xBox. You know the deal girls - boys and their toys!! So late last week/ this week I set about finding some tools and products to help me do that.

I already own a lap desk thingy I bought from Argos AGES ago which is really handy as it is a reasonably large area in which to lay out your stash and create on at the same time. Then I was thinking about how to make my alcohol markers portable. I don't have all that many, at least.. I didn't think I did until I started fitting them into this little tote from The Glitter Pot.

Here is a picture of my little tote full of marker goodness. I think I'm in love! LOL. It's just gonna be a huge problem when I expand my collections and add some Flexmarkers into the mix. Yikes. Gonna be another mission to find somewhere where they all fit together! I reinforced the tote with some scraps of corrugated cardboard - not that the PM's stay in their designated squares, but hey.. it works at a push and it means I can now colour on the go. Happy times.

Okay, so who said this would be about something other than craft?! Oops! Think I've waffled enough. Heehee..

P.S The Glitter Pot have AWESOME delivery times and even better customer service. Highly recommened. They have brilliant prices too. 5*

Punch it Out at LLLC

It's Friday again, and that can only mean one thing. Inspiration from Team Friday over at La La Land Crafts! ;) I made this card well ahead of time, because surprisingly enough time has been on my side this week. Magic or what?! This week we want to see you use those..

PUNCHES..

in innovative ways.. or traditional ways. :) You need some inspiration?! Head on over to LLLC now to see what the rest of Team Friday have up their sleeves for ya!!

I've used Lil' Rocker Luka - isn't he a sweetie?! I love his pose and that cap is so cool. I've coloured him using a mix of Copics and ProMarkers..

Skin: YR000, YR00, E11, R00
Dark Greys: Ice Grey 5, Black
Greys: Ice Grey 5, 4, 2
Guitar: Ice Grey 1, 2, Blender
Blues: Cornflower, China Blue, Midnight Blue

I've only used two little slices of patterned paper from My Minds Eye Hattie collection, as I wanted Luka to be centre stage. I've stamped a sentiment from a Hero Arts set in Blue Bayou ink from SU!

As for punches.. I used SU! Decorative Labels punch to create the details around the circle. SU! Spiral Border punch down the right hand side. SU! Large Star punch.. for the stars and finally SU! 1 1/4" square punch to create the banner ends. I hope that gives you plenty of ideas! :)

Old School and Shoosies

It's Thursday again my friends! ;) Long day at work today, yack. Tis monies though.. so I ain't complaining. I bought myself some new (walking) boots (for work) on Tuesday and they're the comfiest(sp?!) ever! :) Happy feet = good times. They're Brasher and just awesome. I have numerous pairs of walking boots but of course none of them were black.. so hell - I just have another pair to add to my collection. It ain't like my feet are gonna grow anymore though, right?

Onto some sadder news! :( I lost the first round of darts singles last night. I won't go into details.. but to say I was gutted would be an understatement. Ahh well, there's always next year. Plus I have the doubles to play yet, so fingers crossed for me and my partner for that. I want at least one trophy this season! :)

Okay, now I've sufficiently waffled on.. let's introduce the new challenge over at SOG this fortnight. We want to see..

BLACK AND WHITE IMAGES

Challenging for me, definitely. But that's the whole point!! I find it so hard to create enough definition and depth between the shades of colour. I used a mix of Copics and Promarkers - ice, cool and warm greys.. so my image looks a bit higgildy piggldy. I was waiting on my delivery of a few more Copics to try and do the whole image in Warm Greys, but they didn't arrive in time. I was already a day late uploading my card to the DT blog. Silly me! :(

As warned.. here are some more papers from that delicious American Crafts - Hello Sunshine collection. *blush* I told ya!!

I dunno what it is.. but for a neat freak I've got a love for adhereing papers at wonky angles lately. Hopefully it's just a phase as I think my cards are starting to look a little 'samey' - please tell me otherwise! HA. Anywho, I used the gorgeous Kimono Kaylee from the latest SOG digi release.

I went a little OTT with the Liquid Pearls too, but I kinda like it - ties it all in and adds another touch of blue aside from the seam binding. I used a sentiment from Hero Arts and punched three pieces of blue patterned paper from the Hello Sunshine collection using SU! Decorative Labels punch to create a strip across the card for my sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Craft Room Challenge - Black and White
× My Time To Craft - Punches and Dies
× Sweet Stamps - Lots of Layers

Head on over to the challenge blog now to see what other creations the ODDies have made using their Black and White images. :)

Christmas Trio

Good morning all!! I've had time to schedule my post this week so it's going up early! ;) I know, I know.

So here's the deal.. you know when you sit down to colour and it just ain't happening? No? Okay, just me then.. Well I had planned on making a card using a gorgeous Elisabeth Bell stamp and the new Quixotic Sketch, but I just couldn't get my colouring to work. :( Stoopid. So instead I aimed for something I've been making a lot of lately - Christmas cards.

I've been making SO many the past few weeks that I've even started turning to non Christmas themed products to make my projects. So I thought I'd show you all how to use a none Christmas related paper pack. My Minds Eye - Portobello Road. Gorgeous colours and designs, but so far from Christmas - so how did I go about it all?! It's simple.. I kept my cards.. well.. simple. :)

Here is a picture of all three cards together. I used some cream linen cardstock for each card base as it went so well with the patterned paper.

This is my fave card of the set. I think. I've used some striped patterned paper which I have cut at a diagonal - I find diagonal stripes so much more fun. For embellishment I added two teeny tiny chipboard baubles from MiC!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at this little Christmas set. I had real fun making it, and it was great to take a break from colouring. Enjoy your Wednesday whatever you're up to! :)

Spread Sunshine :)

Hello everyone! :) Thanks for stopping by today, I've got a card to share with you that I posted over on the Saturated Canary FB page a few days ago. I'm just getting around to blogging it now.. because I'm lazy. :) It's late on Monday night when I'm typing this and I'm SO ready for bed. I've been like a dead girl walking today - or more like hobbling. I need some new shoes for work, my ankles feels like they're about to SNAP. I currently wear black Converse All Stars and they do NOT support your ankles/ heels/ feet/ ANYTHING at all. Especially not on a 9 hour shift. Ouch! :( It feels so good to sit down and not feel the pain, but then when I go to stand up to do something I almost fall over because I forget! :( Anywho, enough of the whinging.. I seem to be doing that a lot lately on here, don't I?! *Slaps wrists*

Onto the card. I've been totally ODing on Christmas creations lately, hell, I've even reverted to using some none Christmas-y products to make Christmas cards because I'm that drained with it all. In reality I should be focusing on wedding/ Halloween stuff (obviously not combined) - but I've had a lot of Christmas card orders, so I ain't complaining!!

So.. because of the whole Christmas deal I thought I'd take a break and get one of my new Saturated Canary images coloured up. Because I am actually in LOVE with them.

Meet Peace and Love Hipster. Look at that HAIR!! I wish! <3 You can find this amazing girl HERE over at Krista's Etsy Shop! :) I used some papers from my raffle prize kit from Sarahs Cards LTD - American Crafts - Hello Sunshine. So perfect when I want a break from Christmas stuff.

How many times have I said 'Christmas' in this post?!

I've coloured this gorgeous girl using Copics and Promarkers and added my own little stencilled sky background. I got cocky and tried to add some grass. EPIC fail, but hey. At least she ain't floating now. The layout is really simple, not a lot of room left on a 5.5"x4.25" card when you use the largest Labels Fourteen die.

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Saturated Canary - #2 Stitching
× Make it Monday - Anything Goes

Enjoy your day, whatever you're up to. I'll be none stop from the moment I get up today. Card orders, then work, then darts, then BED. Oh, and I gotta get my ass into gear and get my SOG creation finished up. It's been sitting at the side of my desk for about a week going all unloved. I've been waiting for my next order of Copics but they're taking TOO LONG!! Keep your eyes peeled for that on Thursday! <3

Girls, Girls, GIRLS!

Hey guys. I don't know why, but it feels so weird posting on here, it feels like ages and it's only been two days. Crazy. I've been feeling like poop the past few days with this stoopid cold, I've got no mojo, no get up and go, no nothing. But on Saturday night I gave my head a good wobble and sat down and coloured. Admittidly a LOT of images went into the bin, but Sonny was one of the images that passed as acceptable. Luckily. Just in time for the new challenge over a Pollycraft..

GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS!!

Here is the card I made using Sonny Honeycloud - My Way available HERE in digi from the Pollycraft Shop.

Not the first sorta design you'd usually think of for a girl card. I thought I'd go with yellow as my main colour as opposed to pink. I treated myself to some new copics recently (thinking they would reignite my mojo.. how wrong was I?!) and wanted to try a yellow combo. I used Y11, Y13 and Y21 - there is so much more depth in real life, I promise - these photos just don't do it justice.

I used some gorgeous papers and elements from an American Crafts kit I won in a raffle over a Sarahs Cards LTD alongside my monthly kit. SUPER excited about this kit - it's totally summery and a total contast to the Christmas stuff I seem to be swimming in lately! :) Brace youtself for a lot more of this! LOL.

The little orange tag, which is part of the kit ;) pulls out from behind the main layout, I've left it blank for personalisation later on.

You see the little strip along the top on the inside of the card? That's part of a perforated strip along the bottom of one of the sheets of patterned paper. GENIUS?! You know us crafters hate waste and this TOTALLY minimises it! ;)

Soo.. head on over to the CHALLENGE BLOG now to see what the rest of the awesome ladies have made to inspire ya - Lil' Kitty is a BIG feature, let me tell ya.

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
× The Squirrel and The Fox - One for The Girls

La La Land Crafts - Team Friday

Hey everyone. One ill little Lou reporting in today. I am so pooped it's not even funny. I've been ill with god knows what since early Sunday morning and I can't seem to shake it. It's draining me of all energy. I went for my flu jab yesterday after work - too little too late - that's all I'm saying.

Anywho, you didn't come here to hear me whinging on.. so I'll get on with it! Heehee. Time for some inspiration from Team Friday over at La La Land Crafts and the theme this week is..

HALLOWEEN

Have you guys seen the October release?! None of the images were particularly aimed towards Halloween projects, but by using the right colours and embellishments they lend themselves SO well to the theme. I had to use Kitty Kat Marci for my project this time round.

I have used Copics and ProMarkers to colour this image.
Skin: YR000, 00, R30
Hair: E30, 31, 33
White: E40, 41, 0
Blacks: Cool Grey 4, 5, Black
Purples: Amethyst, Aubergine
Greens: Lime Green, Bright Green, Grass
Orange: Honeycomb, Ginger, Spice

Head on over to the challenge blog now to see what the rest of the Friday Team have got for ya! ;)

Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges

As soon as I seen the new head for the Sew Easy Tool - Pennant Banner. HELLO!! So, truth is, it ain't all it's cracked up to be. In fact, I found that unless you make the line of pennants perfectly straight, then the triangle of holes ain't even?! WTH? Maybe it was just the way I was using it. But aside from all of that kerfuffle - I conquered it and in the end I created a template of three banners at a slight angle to use on my project for today! :)

Full credit goes to my boyfriend for stitching this tag while I sat and coloured the image. I think he's made a brilliant job, don't you? Don't compliment him too much, his head will explode. Needless to say he was very happy with himself! LOL.

Anyway, I bet you're saying.. WELL WHAT TAG?! Well, MY TAG FOR THE NEW TPS CHALLENGE, of course!!

This week we want to see..

WHITE ON WHITE WITH A COLOURED IMAGE
This challenge is only open to TPS images.

I found this really tricky! LOL. I just don't get it. So I went with extremely CAS!! I was gonna add some white roses from WOC, but then I thought hell, why take more attention away from those perfecto banners?! LMAO!!

I have used the gorgeous Lil' Birthday Pinkette Coraline - you know the Pinkettes are my fave, so this new release is just right up my street. A girl's gotta have a stash of Birthday paraphernalia, right?

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Art Impressions Stamps - Make a Tag or Bookmark
× Charizma Cards - In Stitches
× Digi Stamps for Joy - Think Pink
× Stampotique Designers Challenge - Tag Time

Head on over to the challenge blog now and see what the other awesome ladies, both established and brand new have got for ya! ;) If you're like me you might need a lot of inspiration for this challenge! LOL.

Happy Vampy

Good morning Quixotic-ers! :) Sorry this project is going up a little later here on my blog, it was up on Quixotic yesterday evening - I hope you had a chance to look! :)

I've used a cute? if you can call it that, Halloween stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie - Happy Vampy.. nothing but sheer delight on their faces!! A bit like me nearer Halloween. I love it. I wish the UK made a big deal of it like the US - it would be fab-o-lous!!

I've coloured these two characters using a mix of ProMarkers and Copics. I felt like going for an unusual hair colour and Halloween is the perfect time for some bright green do's - so there ya have it! I've used a strip of lime green cardstock to stamp the sentiment, also from the Happy Vampy set to tie in. I've used a square punch on each end to create a banner. My usual doodling and distressing ties the pieces together.

I hope you have a great day, whatever you're doing - despite the weather. I'm off to work in about 20 minutes and then I'm off to the doctors later on for my flu jab. THEN I gotta come home and (have a nap) get cracking with my DT work.

I finished my order of tags for Floating Vintage Design's next jewellery collection - Make, Do and Mend!! Yippeee. I had great fun doing them, all 20! :) Pictures to follow soon. Kate is in York tomorrow, so if you could stop by and check her out she would really appriciate it! :)

No rest for the wicked, as they say! ;)

Sentimental Sundays

A FOND FAREWELL.

Earlier this week I decided that it was time to step down from this wonderful team. It was a really tough decision and I've been too-ing and fro-ing with it for weeks. What with my job and my DT stuff going on both in the public eye and behind the scenes I knew it was time to step back a little and stop stressing over so many DT commitments.

I am on a few teams which have regular new releases as well as new up and coming products which need to be showcased so to speak. I also get regular over time at work which I always welcome, so that eats into my craft time too.

A lot of you may know that Ann Vento recently stepped down also, and the ladies over at the challenge blog have worked extra, EXTRA, hard to keep this challenges up and running and for that I take my hat off to them!! Thank you all SO much for having my along for the ride - I really have had a blast. I remember when I applied for the DT position, I honestly didn't think I stood a chance. But thanks to the lovely Ann and a great friend, Susan, I got in!! :) You girls ROCK!!

Anyway, enough of the soft talk!! Here is my project for my last ever challenge which is one we all love.

ANYTHING GOES

Some more Christmas goodness for ya! ;)

Really clean and simple, these are part of a commission. They're only small square cards, the exact size of them escapes me right now. I've used a gorgeous stamp from a Waltzing Mouse stamp set which I have embossed in silver. The SU! Real Red cardstock has been cut using a labels four die. The card base has been embossed using an embossing folder from Sizzix and the olive grosgrain has been in my stash forever. A good cover up between the embossed and none embossed area of the card! ;)

I would like the enter this card into these challenges:
× CES Challenges - Seeing Red
× Little Claire - Christmas
× Floweret - Christmas

Supplies:
Cardstock: Papercuts - Cream Linen; SU! Real Red
Stamps: Waltzing Mouse - Compliments of the Season, Vintage Labels Four
Ink: Versamark
Tools: Sizzix - Holly EF; Papermania Heat Gun
Dies: Nesties - Labels Four
Embellishments: Olive grosgrain
Misc: silver embossing powder

Thank you to everyone who has followed me on my Sentimental Sundays journey, and I hope you keep checking in on my blog for new creations!! Lots of love.

La La Land Crafts Dots & Spots

It's all about the Spots and Dots over at La La Land Crafts this week. Team Friday coming at ya! ;) This is my second post for LLLC and I'm having a BLAST so far. All of the girls are just awesomely inspirational, I can just tell these two months are gonna go by far too fast!!

Anywho, this time round I wanted to make a boy card. I don't know if you seen my Pollycraft post earlier this week, but I gotta stop being a push over and get those male themed cards in my stash built up!! Fisherman Luka was the perfect answer.

I paired this cutie up with some Pink Paislee papers which arrived in my GDT kit earlier this week. Seriously.. Irina ROCKS! One of the reasons I hold back doing boy cards is because you can't embellish them so much. But I dunno, I ain't done half bad with this!! I've added some interest around the image panel using a detail stamp, added some ribbon as well as a snap and some brads!! Heyyy! ;)

Head on over to LLLC now to check out what the rest of the Friday Team have got for ya! ;)

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
