Christmas Crunch Sunday #1

Hidiho :). This is the first post in a series which will take place every Sunday, up 'til Sunday 11th December 2011. I plan on posting one or more Christmas cards (or Christmas-y related things) each week, both in order to serve as inspiration to visitors of my blog, as well as easing the stress of card making for Christmas in 2011. The more cards I make, the more I will have to hopefully sell and also give away for myself! I'm very excited about it all, so lets get started.

This is a digi stamp - Bentley with Poinsettia - he and his little kitten friend are coloured in with ProMarkers. I have used a slice of paper from Cosmo Cricket - Mitten Weather paper pack.

Here is a close up of the digi, you can see that on the kittens hat, the fluffy bits have been embellished with some Martha Stewart micro beads. The snowflakes have been cut with my Making Memories Slice and embellished with some Bo Bunny brads.

Can I just quickly say.. you see that ribbon? Took me about 10 minutes to get that looking as perfect as it does. I'm not one to blow my own trumpet, but it is perfect. Just totally perfect! :) Considering it is only one sided and I managed to get the polka dots showing on all the bits except the knot.. fannn-tastic!!

Supplies:
Solid cardstock: Bazzill - Kraft, AC - White
Patterned paper: Cosmo Cricket - Mitten Weather
Image: Bentley Bear - Bentley with Poinsettia
Brads: Bo Bunny - Holly Jolly Bodacious brads
Ribbon: Red Satin Polka Dot
Tools: WRMK - Corner Chomper, MM - Slice (Fa La La)
Miscellaneous: green fineliner, Martha Stewart - Crystal Microbeads

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:

× Wags 'n Whiskers - Challenge 42 - Snowflakes
× Karber Christmas Challenge - Challenge 5
× The Pink Elephant - Challenge #90 - Winter Wonderland
