Hey guys, thanks for stopping by today. Just a quick post to show you a card I made for a friend I met at the Passion for Papertrey blog. Its her birthday today, so I would like to wish her a massive HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELLY!!
Here is the card I made for her..
I used the gorgeous Lili of the Valley image 'Coffee Break'. I know what you're saying.. "but Lou.. those patterned papers are from a Christmas collection" I know, I know, but hey, you would never really guess if you hadn't seen the collection before would you? At least I hope not anyway..
I had some gorgeous teal satin ribbon from The Ribbon Girl which matched that paper perfectly, so I had to use some of that. The sentiment and tag are from SU! stamp sets stamped in Rose Red ink, also from SU!. The heart charm is from.. you guessed it.. The Ribbon Girl, along with the gorgeous pin. The 'Special Friend' ticket sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs, and the embossed doily on the cardstock is a Hero Arts cling stamp - circle doily, simply embossed with clear powder.
I hope she has a fab day and enjoys the rest of her night, why don't you check her blog out? Click here.. she is a SUPER talented lady! I love her work - she is a real inspiration!
I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× PaperPlay Challenges - #11 - Week 5 - Stamp It Out
× I <3 ProMakers #51 - Anything Goes
Thats all for now I guess. Oh, I would just like to tell you.. the weather round the north east? Is CRAZY!! Its totally blowing a gale - it has been really bad for the last couple of days, it feels like my house is about to take off. I HATE driving in it, but needs must I suppose, ands its one better than ice!!
I'm off to write some recipes up then I'm picking my Mam up for work and taking her home, then heading over to my boyfriends. Driving along the A1 in this is going to be a hoot.. NOT!
