I got a question for ya.. have you tried any of the sweets from The Natural Confectionary Company? Seriously. The sweets with no artificial colours or flavours. No? Well, you've gotta go and grab some RIGHT now!! They're delicious. They're a bit like Pringles, once you pop you really can't stop!! Do you have little snacks to nibble on while your crafting? I do. I can't help myself. It could be anything, chocolate, sweets, biscuits, bagels, toast. I didn't get an ass this big just sitting crafting you know ;)
I have a quick and simple card to share with you today, following the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. I used Bella Bunting who is available from Funky Kits HERE. Isn't she the sweetest?! I coloured her with PM's and paper pieced her dress shoes and socks.
I can't help but look at this card and think something is missing?! Can you see what? I used a new stamp from Waltzingmouse to create the gorgeous doily behind Bella, I don't think the green cardstock really goes well with the rest of the colours - maybe that's why I'm not 100% about this?!
Here is the inside of the card, I made a little bunting banner using some nesties and attached them inside the card and drew a 'string' with brown fineliner.
Thanks for stopping by today. I won't be around much, I've got to go and get sorted for my Ladies Darts Dinner tonight, we've got to be there for half 6, and guess who's driving?! We won 3rd place this year, so I'll have to make myself look presentable, being captain and all. My team will have to get on stage and receive loads of trophies, it will be a long night! LOL. Enjoy the rest of your day, whatever you're doing! xo Lou.
Lou, I lo ve this one - it is so different yet perfect for the image. Loving your bunting - its really 'in' at the mo isn't it? Enjoy your dinner later. Loves your words on the sweeties and your big ass!! Made me giggle so much no wonder my 2 cats are looking at me with a weird look on their faces!! :)X
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card with a cute little monkey! Loving the use of fabrics, too! What really caught my eye is the layered and cut piece the monkey is ON! Is that a die cut or am I looking at a trimmed out scalloped circle? Fabulous....I am always looking for different ways to use a die and this one is FUN!
