Woah, it’s my first time posting anything for Pear Tree Designs in a while, but I’ve had so much stuff going on at home I just haven’t had the time. But I’m back with a bang, like I promised!! Yippee.
This week the challenge is ‘STAMP IT UP’, we want to see you using your stamps. I have chosen some Simply Sassy rubber, which is available over at Funky Kits. They’re the most gorgeous girls you will ever meet – and the Set 7 blog hop is happening right now – find it HERE.
This stamp is called Pillow Talk, isn’t her pose just the sweetest? I decided to paper piece her pillows using some papers from a MME Lime Twist collection. I coloured the rest of her using my PM’s and fussy cut her out.
I die cut some Baja Breeze cardstock with a PTI ink die and stamped it using Blue Bayou ink. I thought the sentiment was appropriate for my circumstances right now! LOL. The yummy twill stripe ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl, I have pleated it to add some interest and added some zigzag stripes in Crumb Cake and cream ink above. Finally I rounded the top two corners with my WRMK Corner Chomper.
I would like to enter this card into thse challenges:
× House That Stamps Built - Paper Piecing
× I <3 ProMarkers - Pink & Brown
× Stampavie and More - Ribbon
× Catch The Bug - Spots and Stripes
Thanks for stopping by today, be sure to head over to PTD and show us your stamped creations! xo Lou.
