Mauve, Silver & White

Better late than never, or so the saying goes. Not really sure it counts when there is only like two days or perhaps even one a bit days left to enter this weeks challenge over at La La Land Crafts. But get yo asses over there!!

This week we want to see a combo of..

Mauve, Silver and White

;) Tricky, huh? The DT had a right challenge with this. Honestly. I can't wait to see how you guys interpret it. Head on over to the challenge blog to get some inspiration from both Team Monday and Friday.

Here's what I came up with using the gorgeous Autumn Marci. I know I say this every time I use purples, but WOW, I have GAPS in me ProMarker collection. Oops. I used Amethyst, Orchid and Lavender.

A really simple layout. :) I used some Lavender cardstock from Papercuts for the cardbase and distressed all edges with Frayed Burlap DI. I embossed some textured WHITE cardstock with an embossing folder I cannot for the life of me remember the name of. I then added a slice of purple snowflake patterned paper from a Cosmo Cricket pad - Mitten Weather. Too cute.

Look at that face. Don't you just wanna chub her little cheeks?! To embellish I added some gorgeous deep purple silk ribbon from the one and only The Ribbon Girl! I attached a little SILVER snowflake charm using some linen thread, I then searched my Wild Orchid Crafts supply for purpleness.

There ya have it. Head on over now to join in.
