When You Go Down To The Woods Today..

well, you know the rest - but today over at Lexi's Creations we don't want you to sing the song - we want you to SHOW US THE BEARS..

The sponsor this time round is Letraset.. so there will be some ProMarkers up for grabs for the lucky winner.


Thank you to everyone who participated in the last challenge - I had great fun looking at all of your Valentine's creations, such different styles all filled with love!! Congratulations to the winner and the winner of the GDS..

Here is my take on the challenge..


Not 100% sure if I like this card or not, but Mr. Bear took so long to cut out I don't think I would have been willing to start over!! LOL. I do love the look of the green Martha Stewart micro beads on the heart though!!


I have used the digi image 'Miss You Bear' from Lexi's shop Fairy Dust Crafts.. Hes such a cutie with his little hearts. :) With my first attempt I coloured him gray - sort of like a Me To You Bear - but I wanted to add a bit more colour to him, so this was actually my second attempt.

Me and the rest of the DT seemed to have a right job finding challenges to enter - if you haven't made a valentines/love/heart related card there was a distinct lack of challenges.

Patternend paper: Basic Grey - Pyrus
Digi: Miss You Bear
Embellishments: Prima Flowers - Brown,
Ribbon: SU! Soft Suede polka dot grosgrain
Tools: Sizzlits - Flourish #10, Tim Holtz Alterations - Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Making Memories - Slice (Fa La La) WRMK - Corner Chomper
Misc: SU! - Linen Thread, buttons from stash (coffee & cream), olive buttons, brown fineliner
