I had an AWESOME time at Go Karting last night. What a bloody laugh. 80 laps seemed to FLY over. Needless to say I didn't win - I was one of the heaviest there! :( My arms were aching from the moment I got out of the kart and I only dread my day at work. Filling shelves is gonna be a BIG task! LOL. Anywhoo..
This week our challenge theme over at Pollycraft has been picked by our lovely Arabella. We want to see those..
TAGS AND BOOKMARKS
You know the type. The cute little projects that are great for using all your scraps, plus they're fun and easy to make for that something a little different when you're not in the mood for a card. Hell, if you can make them small enough you might be able to find a way to incorporate them onto a card. Something I've seen a lot lately around blog land is tags on tags too. Hot.
The girls have blown my mind this week with their projects. I wanna have numerous books on the go just so I can eat up all of their amazing bookmarks. Plus the tags we've got for ya, you'll be asking for a present just to receive these cuties!
Some of you may know that I'm going to be attending my second craft fayre at the end of October - naturally it is Halloween themed so I've been trying to blast out the Halloween projects bit by bit. I'm trying to steers away from cards for this event as we don't really 'do' Halloween like the Americans, so I don't want to make a bunch of cards nobody wants. So instead I've been aiming more towards little gift tags, treat bags and boxes as well as little Halloween keepsakes.
Here is one of many little Halloween tags I plan on making with the Kraft Tags from Papermania I bought at Papercuts the other day. :)
I used the cute little Kraft Tag from PaperMania along with some of the yummy
papers from MME Mischevious collection. I embossed the sentiment from Hero Arts
in white and coloured the Lil' Swings and Slides dude using Copics and ProMarkers. The
little Halloween Pumpkin dotted about is from Hero Arts too and has been stamped
in Pumpkin Pie ink from SU! ;) Some spots of White Opal liquid pearls and
doodling around the edges finishes this little tag off!
Hope you likey. I can just envision a bunch of these cuties all lined up on my desk! :)
