SOG Gifty Gwen

Tell me you guys have been following the previews over at Some Odd Girl this week!! If not, head on over NOW to see what you're missing!!

On Monday we had..

DEER MAE

Tuesday gave us..

TREE TRIMMING KAYLEE

Wednesday gave way to a new girl about SOGville..

HOLLYDAY GWEN

Today.. we have another Gwen to show you..

GIFTY GWEN

Here's what I've got for ya! ;) Kristy has described her as.. a curly hair girl with a fun vintage fair and a kooky attitude. :)  I'll go with that.

Even though this set is being released as part of our holiday release.. it is SO versatile.. I think you could use her ALL year round. Those sentiments are just fab and the little 'to:' and 'from:' can be used on all sorts of projects. That gift she is holding could be a present, it could be a box of chocolates. The possibilies with this girl are endless. Check out what the other ODD girls have created with here HERE and see for yourself.

I have gone with traditional colours again, using papers from Basic Grey Wassail collection. I've coloured Gwens hair and skin using Copics and the rest of her using PM's to match the papers. I have fussy cut her out and adhered her to the card using dimensionals.

I have embossed two of the sentiment stamps in white embossing powder to create my whole sentiment for the card. I've cut it out using a lacey circles nestie. I have added some beige buttons which I've threaded with some linen thread from SU! The ribbon is from no other than The Ribbon Girl and I've added some cinnamon Stickles around the outside for some added bling.

Here is a sneak at the inside of the card. I have stamped the little present image from the set in Frayed Burlap DI to tie in with the rest of the card and adhered it to a lacey circle with another strip of that deep red patterned paper.

Okay, now for some even MORE exciting stuff.. if that is even possible!! Tomorrow..

WE'VE GOT A BLOG HOP!! Showcasing TWO, yes TWO new stamp sets. Boy oh BOY. If you've liked/loved/drooled over the previews so far this week be sure to stop by the SOME ODD GIRL BLOG tomorrow to get HOPPING!!
