Pollycraft Monday #109 - Week Off

Hey Pollycrafters. If you're here looking for my challenge post this morning, I'm afraid you ain't gonna find it. We're having a week off from challenges this week - kids are back at school and what not. So instead I'm gonna show you another card I've made using a Luna Bitterfrost from her new collection.

Here is HEARTS ROCK..

Did you see THIS card Paula made last week using her?! Freakin' GENIUS.

Here is my take on the cutie. PURPLE hair this time. Why the hell not, right? Again I've paired her up with papers from MME - Oh La La for her Collection. I've also used a die cut from the collection as a base for my sentiment, which has been created using letter stickers and letter rub ons.

A purple cardbase to match her purple hair, some little postage stamps from Whimsy, a few WOC flowers, a strip of baby pink grosgrain from The Ribbon Girl and some pink bakers twine wrapped around the base layer complete the embellishments for this card. I've added the customary doodles and distressing.

I've coloured the whole image using ProMarkers. I've cut her out onto a panel instead of fussy cutting her, distressed, doodled and glittered the edges. Like her odd socks? I do. LOVE them infact. I always wear odd socks and those were just too cute to let an odd opportunity pass.

Here is a close up of the sentiment. This is the first time I can think of that I've created a layered sorta sentiment. YKWIM! I like the look but I never have the right bits and pieces - that die cut was just perfecto.

Here is the usual shot of the inside of my card. :)

Enjoy your Monday, whatever you're doing!!
