Good morning! :)
Today I have a bit of an extra special card to show you. This was another commission from a family member for another family member. They specifically wanted the number 100 and the name/ word 'Auntie'
Here you have a 100th birthday card.
100 years old! A WHOLE century old. Honestly. Is that not amazing?!
At first I wanted to use SU! Elegant Soiree collection, but I thought the blues would be a little much.. so I hunted around my paper drawer and rediscovered my Kaisercraft Homemade collection! Perfecto. I decided to pull out my spellbinders and create a shaped card using my big scalloped circles.
I used my slice to create the 100 using some patterned paper from the same collection, it has clear embossing on it, just gorgeous - not sure how well you can see in the picture. The tiny little 'th' are letter stickers from the same collection. I used some Jenni Bowlin letter stickers to create the 'happy' and 'auntie' the 'birthday' is part of a stamp from PTI stamped in Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink.
The embossed doily you can see sticking out around the edges is from Waltzing Mouse - LOVE that set. You can find it HERE. I have embossed it in white onto some woodgrain patterned paper.
Here is a little peak of the inside of the card. I used a sweet little sentiment from LOTV and left room to write a personalised note. :)
I also made a little acetate lid box to keep it in. I hope this is as special as the recipient.
this is stunning x x
