Some Odd Girl Blog Hop

HELLO!! Welcome to the Some Odd Girl HOLIDAY CLEAR RELEASE Blog Hop!! So glad you could join us!!

If you've arrived here from CORRYS BLOG you're on the right track, if not please head on over to the Some Odd Girl Blog and get started hopping - you won't wanna miss a SINGLE creation from these girls!

So let's get right into it ODDies! :)

Today we are having some special hop along fun with our new releases! This holiday release has brought you a ton of fun and new things (aren't you LOVIN' the new curly girl in SOGville, Gwen?!) and today is no exception! Until now all the Clear Stamp sets from SOG have been a 4" x 3" size but Kristy has TOTALLY stepped up her game AND stepped up the size! As part of this release we have 2 sets that are a bigger 4" x 6" size!

Say HELLO!! to Warm Wishes Tia and Deck the Halls Tobie!

Aren't they just so sweet? With these two sets Kristy has tried to bring a lot of options to the table with multiple sentiments, 2 figures on each that are sized to work together AND different elements that coordinate and work together OR separately. GENIUS!!

With Warm Wishes Tia set there is a separate tag that you can use to label your stamped gifts, some cute and quirky snowflakes to use with the penguin or on their own. Deck the Halls Tobie has a candy cane sized to stuff your stockings, jingle bells that make great accents or could be strung on a line and much more!

I have created a little gift bag with Tobie. I have used the main image and a sentiment from the set. Tobie is THE perfect size for this little bag from PTI. Match made in heaven!! As I was sitting colouring this little dude I kept looking over at the other stamps and I had a LOAD of ideas buzzing around in my head. A stamp set this large with everything matching is just immense for cardmakers and scrappers alike. You don't have to go rummaging for the matching sentiment or a coordinating element - it's fantastic. The little stockings are perfect to paper piece and I can't wait to create a stocking crammed full of as many of those candy canes as POSSIBLE!!

I have used papers from Echo Park - Snowy Day collection along with a doily from my stash and I punched the sentiment panel with my new decorative label punch from SU! <3 I've coloured the cutie using Copics and ProMarkers and fussy cut him ou. Of course I had to add Diamond Stickles to his little pompom! ;)

I'm gonna send you off to ELENAS BLOG now!! Honestly, this girl is RAW TALENT! I need colouring classes off her!!

To give you some inspiration with all of these different pieces we are hopping with the Odd Girls who are sharing different takes with these new sets :) As a special treat DT Coors Sarah and Leah will be sharing just how versatile our new Odd Girl Gwen can be and our guest Sandie is joining the fun with a stunning creation of her own! Enjoy and make sure to comment on every blog for a special surprise giveaway, you have until Sunday @ 11:59PM EST to get your comments in! Winner will be announced on Monday.

Enjoy!!

Here is the hop list if you find yourself a little lost in SOGville.
