Sentimental Sundays #71 - Sympathy or Thinking of You

Hello Sentimental Fools - another Sunday. Gosh, these weekends fly over, don't they? Did you all enjoy the Back to School challenge last week? Are all your little ones back now? I bet you're glad. More crafting time! Yippeee!

This week over at Sentimental Sundays we want to see a more tricky type of card. The type of card that I know a lot of card makers don't like making.. simply because you never know what to say..

SYMPATHY/ THINKING OF YOU

Hopefully the girls will be able to inspire you to make something fit for the occasion.

Here is my take on the challenge..

I have used a combo of Hero Arts and Paper Makeup stamps to create the sentiment. Some gorgeous papers from Bo Bunny Gabrielle collection and some silky crush ribbon from The Ribbon Girl for my base design. I've used a two PTI dies and some paper from the same collection to create my flower and some pearl brads from Papermania.

Here is a shot of the inside of the card. I really, really love that sentiment. Sums it up perfectly. Customary doodles and distressing with another strip of patterned paper to finish it off! :)

I would like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Die Cuttin' Divas - Fall Colours
I hope the browns and creams qualify. If not, I'm sorry! :(
× My Craft Spot - 'Sew' Much Fun
× Stamps and Fun - Dots and Stripes
× Fashionable Stamping - Ribbon or Lace

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill - Kraft
Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny - Gabriella
Stamps: Hero Arts - Friends; Paper Makeup Stamps - When There's Nothing Left To Say
Ink: Distress Ink - Frayed Burlap; SU! - Sage Shadow, Blue Bayou
Embellishments: The Ribbon Girl - Silky Crush Ribbon TEAL; Papermania - Pearl Brads TEAL;
Misc: brown fineliner;

Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to check out the prize this week and gather some inspiration from the other awesome girls.
