I was up til almost 3 o'clock this morning making cards - I was on a roll, let me tell ya!! So I didn't stop until my eyes started clouding over with sleep!! LOL. I have a card to show you today, using a gorgeous Stamping Bazaar image!! I won their previous challenge 'spots & stripes' so thought I would enter another of their challenges. I love using their images - so freakin' cute!!
I was up at 10 this morning taking some pictures of the cards I had made while the sun was on the right side of the house. I then made my way down to the kitchen and have baked some orange muffins with white chocolate drizzle and some vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing and chocolate shavings!! Mmm. They are in preperation for our darts game tonight, as we are at home. I don't see many being left!! LOL. I'll have to take one now to taste while I can!!
Heres the card I've made using Marvin the Bat, isn't he just the cutest?! Haven't I said that before? Yeah.. but hes cute, right?
Really unusual colours for me to use on a card, but I thought, hey!! why not?! I think they have worked well together, sort of. Not a great amount of detail on this card, I think it looks a little wierd without a sentiment, but its hidden inside the pocket on the tag.
This is a vellum butterfly made with a MS punch, and covered in Rock Candy Stickles, it doesn't show up to well in the picture, but it sort of looks like glass. Really pretty effect!! I have stitched around the outside of the 'pocket' in white thread using my trusty Janome sewing machine. I love him! :) I punched one edge of the Rich Razzleberry cardstock with a Sprial Border punch, both from SU!
