You Are Fabulous!

Good afternoon! :) If you're over here looking for my Christmas Crunch Sunday click -->HERE<-- I posted it yesterday - due to me missing out last week. Sorry about that.!

Anywho, today I have a card to show you using a Kenny K image - Download Diva. How gorgeous is she?! I have had this stamp a while, but this is the first time I have inked her up. Why did I wait so long?! I have no idea.

My printer has been playing up this week - it's almost ate my foot a couple of times! *gaaahh* Its still not co-operating - so I have used loads of rubber this week and given my digis a rest! LOL.

Here was the basis of my card - how I wanted it layed out etc, then I broke out my green ribbon to choose which two I wanted to use to go along with the Kenny K Recipe.

I ordered some wooden pegs off eBay the other day (24 pack) and I now use these along with mini pins to wind my loose ribbon. Its really handy - and it looks looovely when you have similar colours layed out together - like on the picture!! :)

I love the colour combo I have used on this card - I didn't think I would, but it works well. Add a little bit of Kraft for the base and a few splashes of brown ink here and there and I'm still within my comfort zone, heehee. I cut the banners myself, using scissors and a square punch. They're just a little different from your usual triangular bunting. I have outlined each 'flag' with Lime Green Stickles. So yummy. The gold speckles in the glitter match so well with the Basic Grey Origins paper.

The yellow panel behind Download Diva was cut using my nesties - Labels Four, I then stamped a co-ordinating border pattern from a Waltzingmouse stamp set in SU! Soft Suede ink. The sentiments and ticket shapes are from Whimsy Stamps. These little tickets have featured a lot on my recent cards - the perfect size for cardmakers.
