Cherished Friend

Evening!! :) How are ya?!

If you're looking for my Some Odd Girl posts click HERE and HERE. You don't wanna miss a thing this week, trust me!

So, here's me thinking stuff would slow down now that Christmas is over, don't be so silly! Heehee. Not that I'm complaining, the "stuff" is keeping me on my toes. My page Cartolinas from Lou Mac over on FB is on fire. I've been making a real effort to get my name out there and I think it's working. Yippeeee!! I've even ordered a new signature stamp for the back of my cards. I'm replacing the Handmade by Louise McConnachie to Handmade by Cartolinas from Lou Mac. ;) Get meee.

So here I have a little birthday/ friendship card to show ya, using a new image from Tiddly Inks.. it's only the gorgeous Wryn. She went down really well over on my FB page. Ahhh, seems I love her just as much as the public. I was totally sold as soon as I seen the gorgeous Pop's using her on a project over at her blog. So I had to buy the LOT, plus a few other sentiments and things, which you will see later on, I'm sure. New Tiddly Inks addict right here, you guys! :)

So here is Wryn - Grow a Little Love. I've used some scrumptious papers from My Minds Eye - Breeze collection. With the added pop of orange which I have taken from the patterned paper.. I think this card looks really autumnal, love the colours! :) Just goes to show, a collection you may first think of as male orientated can make a damn cute girly card too.

Everything apart from my cardbase, my ribbon and my oval die cut.. everything is BRAND NEW on this card. Yip, totally untouched. All new WOC flowers and a gorgeous polka dot button which I found in one of my flower boxes. Lucky or what?! Don't even know where it come from, looks like something from The Ribbon Girl though!

I've coloured Wryn using markers and paper pieced her little dress using some patterned paper with the smallest ever polka dots!! I've fussy cut her out and added her to the card using dimensionals.. as usual. My sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps - Noteables 2 die and Friendship sentiments. I love how little the die cut is, and the stamps are so versatile. A friendship card could be used any time of the year, right! :)

I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:
× Tiddy Inks - #77 Celebrations
× The Sketchy Challenges - #14 Corry's Sketch
× Cupcake Craft Challenges - #174 Something New
New papers, flowers, digi, stamp and die. :)
× Make it Monday - Anything Goes

Thought I'd finish with a little shot at the inside of my card.

Lots of love to you guys. Off for the first darts game of the new year tonight. I think I'll be a little rusty, it's been a while. Plus on top of that I'ma be pooped. I wish days had 48 hours. :/
