Some Odd Girl Challenge - ::*Complimentary Colours*::

Today is the day!!

1) It's my 21st birthday - so I'm having a day off EVERYTHING! :) So hopefully my scheduled posts with go live when I want them to.

and

2) This is the FIRST OFFICIAL CHALLENGE over at SOME ODD GIRL for the new term and the new girls - including ME! :)

Soo.. this time round we want to see you using..

COMPLIMENTARY COLOURS

You can pick any colours as long as they're opposite each other on the colour wheel. For example, yellow-green and red-violet or blue-violet and yellow-orange

For my project I have used blue-green and red-orange. I've created another little bookmark - LOVE these things - using Bookish Tia. I have coloured her using Copics and PM's, I have also paper pieced her socks, because I gotta, and her t-shirt.

Her bag was just crying to be coloured like a rainbow - see it?! Ahhh :) I had to. I've added some yummy orange ribbon from The Ribbon Girl along with strips of paper from MME. The two brads are from Basic Grey Max and Whiskers collection - the perfect colour! :)

I have punched some tiny circles and stamped letters using a Studio G alpha set to spell "read".

I would like to enter this bookmark into these challenges:
× Celebrate the Occasion - Back To School
× One Stitch at a Time - Use a Digi
× Catch the Bug - August Anything Goes
